NO BUENOOOOOO…This place should be the definition of rip off. I’m not sure if they’re frying fish in the back of a pick up truck but I’ve had better fish from poor people in the villages. My fish was beyond burned. It was so burned and small I wasn’t sure if it was DIQUE FRESH RED SNAPPER. I should’ve done a DNA test the fish was so beyond recognition. Beyond charred. Past blackened. Being a sous chef in Manhattan myself, I would never nor would my chef allow this order to pass. Have you heard of a re-fire. I ask myself who expedited this order? Who continued to pack this order to be picked up ? Is my money not good enough? A address is provided what if patron complain in front of other patrons? Horrible horrible . This does not represent true Spanish culture or even any culture due to the level of burned . I’m still awaiting for a response via Uber Eats from the restaurant. This is a BRING YOUR OWN FISH . onions on my salad was OLD. Sweet plantain we’re not sweet probably fried with the same oil as the fish. Hard . Burned on the outside and hard on the side . I’m not sure is this order was made by a one handed prison beta fish because everyone on the line should get fired or replace by ME. It’s one thing when minorities complain about the community being gentrified BUT when my own minority community rips me off then what does that say about yourself?? I was better off eating at my workplace and spending more money AT LEAST THE CHEF WILL MAKE SURE MY FISH IS WORTH THE TAB!!! THE WORST FISH EVER AND IVE EATEN...

Read moreWhere do I start, I've had chimi rico many years ago and loved it. I recently decided to retry again. Honestly the food wasn't as i remembered. I ordered mini mofonguitos 2 chicken/ 2 bistec (steak), order comes with 4, 3 empanadas ..2 Pollo con queso (chicken with cheese), 1 pizza empanada, Jugo de chinola (passion fruit juice), flan, and 2 quipe ( dominican version kibbeh) ..1 Pollo ( chicken) and 1 carne molida ( ground beef). Monfonguitos were good, can't say the best. The employee in the front charged us extra for steak n gave us ground beef. Check your orders before leaving. Empanadas had more chicken than cheese, a little too dry. The pizza empanada was average. Quipes was for a friend so i didn't try. Drink was good. The flan though, that was delicious!! The dessert is gem approve!! The flan was perfect not too sweet or bland... it was really good!! Overall, it's was 3 out 5. Wasn't terrible but again could of been better. Also the guy that was taking our order had such a horrible attitude because we were asking questions about the food. Once we tipped him it changed his mood. Smh. Ill say,...
