Kennedy Fried Chicken — Restaurant in New York

Not sure how people are giving such high reviews for this place.

When I walked in I wasn't even acknowledged, stood around for about 4 minutes before one of the guys asked me if I had been helped.

I had purchased through an app Too Good Too Go. It does not state what you will get for the $4.99 purchase but you are basically saving food that could have been thrown out.

So I ended up with 2 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and a biscuit. After I left I was eating and driving and discovered the chicken had clearly been under the heat lamp for a long while. The crust was hard. And the chickennot soft was tasteless. The biscuit was dry and hard. The mashed potatoes were (OMG) nasty and you only get 4 oz of potatoes with a smear of gravy on top.

It was not worth the stop. Will not go back ever. Por service, very poor...

Worst customer service ever. I ordered on Grubhub and they cancelled my order. The excuse was that the delivery limit is one mile. I don’t love a mile away and have ordered from this restaurant before. The guy stated “I just work here and the same notification you got from Grubhub we got.” The man hung up the phone on me.

I called Grubhub and they told me the restaurant cancelled because I was outside of the delivery range. I explained to her that I was not and the restaurant said that Grubhub’s delivery range is one mile. She kept repeating that this was the information she had and that she can call the restaurant. My refund was processed which will take 5-10 business days and I still have no food.

The worst experience ever and the worst customer service on both ends. 0 stars hands down. Too bad that...

I like the friendly staff at this location and I've been eating from here for years. New management, so a few things on the menu has changed besides higher prices. Had to check the new owners son in the beginning, because he was speaking to customers as if he lost his mind and as if he couldn't catch these hands.The food has less seasoning and it's either hit or miss on certain days. The fish also was changed from what was previously sold here, so it has a castor oil after taste which is not so appealing. Cutting back is one thing but ordering cheaper items that doesn't taste good, raising the prices, and selling it to customers will eventually make you lose...
