The rooms are very small and tight with large chests desks and doorless wardrobe closets. You'll be hard pressed to move around the King size bed. The bathrooms are beautiful with folding glass doors and walkin showers , no tubs. And oddly the room my wife and I stayed in had a bathroom without a mirror or in the room at all. For a hotel to want a premium rate for a Saturday overnight stay, there should be premium TV service available. Local antenna service with a limited amount of stations is frustrating. And finally, the heat in the room was intermittent and not adjustable to what seemed to my wife and I to be set entirely to low for the 40° temperature outside. And our room was on the sublevel. We give this establishment points for the level of cleanliness and customer service. The housekeeping staff needs to keep track of the condition of the furniture for damage and usability. Our office chsir was off-balance cause of a missing wheel. I am glad my wife didn't fall to the floor when she attempted to sit in it. Otherwise , this place is off the beaten path, on the cusp of the East New York Industrial Park. With immediate views of parked school busses and auto repair shops. Hopefully by the time you have read this, management will have made the necessary changes for your...
Read moreI’m gonna get down to brass tacks and just say this hotel was a really really bad stay
The room and bed didn’t feel clean, the bed was too big for the room so it was cramped and the water in the bathroom was unreliable and inconsistent. The temperature would change suddenly and so would the pressure of both the sink and the shower. Also at random times the pipes would be loud.
The neighbors were very loud too and I frequently heard what yelling, vehicle motors and sirens outside my window. The room also smelled like a tobacco smoking competition which didn’t personally bother me but does go against it’s advertisement of being a smoke free hotel
The location was bad too, with it being in an area of Brooklyn with nothing around except the feeling of danger. It’s only saving grace of the location was that there is a subway entrance very close
The worst thing I felt was that the hotel has a rule against brining guests but I feel they failed to emphasize that prior to arriving and checking in
It’s also not particularly affordable for all these flaws
Ultimately I’d only recommend this hotel if the alternative is sleeping...
Read moreHell to the no, would I ever say here. Me and my fiancé decided to try a new hotel in Brooklyn, this hotel just screams a hotel just for homeless the walls are scraped, when we got into the room Let’s start with the bathroom: No hot water Shower head has mold Gives us only one toilet paper roll, that has already been used
Next to the bedroom: The lovely WiFi doesn’t work, when my fiance goes down we’ll be right up to fix it never came!
The bed sheets were stained with brown and red spots
Next to the hallway:
At all times, 2am, 6am, even 8am there are people shouting, cursing at each other that you can literally hear them from down the hall but they have “security” downstairs by the front desk ? What to only protect the front desk but not the people who pay 100+ to stay at your hotel.
Never again, am me or my fiancé ever coming back to this digusting hotel, I wanted to leave so bad on the same night but knew I would not get my money back....
