I had quite of bit of time to kill for lunch and I was hungry....so I found this spot nearby. Located in Bronx, NY....this place was pretty good and it helps to anyone who gets a late, night craving that this place is open 24 hours. When I got inside I was seated within a reasonable time and my drinks were served quickly. I ordered the fried porkchop and cheese mofongo. I have to say the food was very good and the portions were just right so kudos there. The gravy for the mofongo was a bit on the salty side, but a drink of water helped that out. The waitress could stand to be a bit more cheerful, but I have no complaints overall. The price point was on par for what I ordered so your wallet shouldn't complain. I'd come here again.

The food was okay and the service was okay. I came here because on the door they had a sticker showing they take American Express but the cashier didn’t want to ring me up with my American Express card. She says they don’t take it but there’s literally several signs for American Express as a payment option on their restaurant establishment walls and doors. The food I ate is the “lunch plate” which is 9$. If you order it as take out you get way more food than what is picture on my plate. I also had an orange and tap water.

I love this restaurant they cook real good. I love there cooking. They cook with seasoning. It's a Dominican restaurant. They cook so good. Only issue I have is at night there's lots of rats outside of the area. AND I don't like that they charge more then any other restaurant. They charge tax for everything. But is worth it they cook so good. I hate that they don't do hard rice no more only weekends and that's still a lie because I called and they don't have it weekends neither.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Worst experience ever. I was harassed numerous times. 2 minutes after getting my meal, they brought me the bill. Every 2 minutes they kept coming to check if I paid it... literally EVERY 2 minutes they kept coming to my table, grabbing the bill to see if the money was in there. I paid for my hookah in cash which was $25, then after the 5th time of them coming to grab the bill over and over I decided to just leave. I handed over my debit card and they want ID for a debit card.... I understand if it was a credit card, but for a debit card in which I was willing to enter my pin for, they wanted ID for a $20 dollar meal. They ended up calling police on me, and the police sided with me, they ended up feeling stupid. I feel like they only want Spanish ppl their. Every time I’ve been there they never asked for ID But because I came by by self I was racially profiled & the food was terrible....

Their menu food is what you need in your life... their buffet foods are delicious, but their menu foods are 5 notches better than the buffet foods. Taste is a matter of personal preference, but believe me when I tell you I've been there enough to confidentially say it's worth it despite spending 33 minutes looking for parking... My fiancée and I went 1/4/25, and he had the chicken in lemon sauce, and I had the chicken in garlic sauce, each with 2 sides... Food is a 10 outta 10 Parking sucks but it's NYC, so you just suck it up because you're going to enjoy deliciousness 😋 Service is good Restaurant & seating serves it's purpose. Like my Nonna use to say, "forse non è bella, ma ha un cuore grande." Which translates to: She may not be pretty, but she has a...
