Fuerza Dance Studio — Local services in New York

Having come over from the UK, I was on the lookout for a new dancing home to enjoy my favorite pastime.

My previous dance experience is primarily in modern jive but I was on the lookout for dance classes in the near vicinity to where I live in Spuyten Duyvil.

Although Fuerza is in Manhattan, it is just over the river from where I live in the south of the Bronx, and a very easy commute.

I had my first ever Bachata class with Adrian on Saturday 06 May. He and everyone taking part in the class were extremely welcoming and made me feel very comfortable.

He's also a great teacher. He was very observant, noticing any dance difficulties I was having along the way and did slower repeats to ensure that me and my partner got the additional assistance needed without us even having to ask for help.

Well done Fuerza...

Taking dance classes at La Fuerza Dance Studio was the best thing for me to do. I love to dance and this takes my whole mood and vibe to the next level. I always look forward to my dance classes and to dance side by side with my new friends.

Fausto and his team are wonderful people! The classes are fun and exciting. The instructors are very good in teaching, patience and professional each with a twist of an amazing personality.

I have not been to the studio for in-person classes. However, I purchased a T-shirt from the company at a dance congress and they never shipped it to me, even after me sending several emails. Now I'm having the same experience with a choreo I purchased. After purchasing, the videos never showed up in my account. The contract I signed said to contact them if I was unable to access the videos. Well, I have sent three emails in two weeks and have yet to receive a response. This company seems...
