Not enough bathrooms. Too long a wait to relieve oneself. No paper towels, no toilet seat liners, the bathroom smells, no exhaust system or window, The library itself is bright and inviting. Should have a cafe or a snack bar. Should have a garden outdoor reading area. Should open at 3:00 pm and close at 10:00 pm. Thank you for answering me You haven't dealt with the issue of not enough toilets, no paper towels, no toilet seat liners. Also the library hours serve the staff well but not the community. Children are in school until 3pm. Fathers and mothers work and are home evenings. There has to be a schedule of library hours that serve these major neighborhood populations. It's not only about a nice new building, it's about serving the community well. Please respond to these real...

Ok,so I went to the Inwood Library,on Saturday and had a most pleasurable time there. The Librarian was very helpful and knowledgeable...now this is a small branch that has been up and running about two years,it is being used until a new permanent branch is being built.

They have a certain amount of books, but I'm sure you'd have a good time going there, computers are also available to use to go online. It is a nice small cozy branch to spend some time in whether weekday or weekend, only thing this branch isn't open on Sundays. This was a nice way to spend part of my weekend in,it's located about four blocks from 207thSt train station...a...

The Inwood library is warm, responsive to community and patrons. Its staff are available to all, helpful to the max and reach out to those who are too shy to go to them. In particular, Cathy , the charismatic security guard, maintains order, community spirit, watches over children alone by the elevator and helps those new to technology to log on. Cathy makes certain teens and tweens respect one another and other library patrons. She capably and competently makes noisy tweens and teens exit if they violate library rules. She would be fabulous with students in a school as well. What a role model and model of the...

Recent renovations place Inwood Library among the most stunning in the entire NYPL system. The branch is spacious, with plenty of room for quiet reading, study and computer use. There are private study rooms available for reservation, and large dedicated areas for children and teens. There are bathrooms and water fountains on both floors. Upstairs you’ll find more workspace, an Adult Learning Center and a community/meeting space. This library is for everyone.

The library has moved to a storefront a half block up & on the other side of the street. The staff is still super lovely, & they have a few programs to allow “browsing” even though you can’t touch something if you’re not taking it home. So glad my library is open again safely!!!
