Frank's Original Pizza Italia — Restaurant in New York

I’m so sorry I hardly do any reviews but when it’s time to give me reviews I have to step up I used to come here years ago and I came here to visit. The atmosphere is horrible. The pizza is so priced overpriced. The taste is disgusting and also they just operate in cash only obviously these are new owners I understand but they really really need to shut this place down. In fact, they need to send a food inspector to come to this kitchen to inspect the kitchen because I have a bad feeling about this place. There’s flies all over the tables you can’t even eat in and it’s super hot and the AC’s been out for months for what I understand. It’s just the food is horrible. They need to figure this thing out but the the the guys that will work and that was so sweet. They were cool but I told him I said look I am a piece of connoisseur. This piece is not good I am sorry I had to literally tell them to their face and also I tipped him just so I can you know whatever but please if you want good pizza, are you specially out of town if you’re looking for good pizza and this is the place that you used to go to please stay away for now. Okay so I've been reading a lot of reviews for this location and they have been pretty great which led me to go there this evening. I CAN'T agree with the majority. Maybe it was a bad night. Or the cook was new. But the recipe should always remain the same if it's that great...RIGHT!? The sauce was bland had a sort of thin taste and feel to it. No love at all. The cheese (lack there of!) I can't even tell you how it tasted because it got lost in the sauce😳( no pun intended)I could see the sauce more than the cheese. Now, for the crust.... Oooh that CRUST!!! AMAZING!!!! Soooo Crispy and crunchy yet soft and chewy. HTF did they do that!!!?? It had these little lumps and bumps on the bottom that just made all my worries disappear. I almost forgot about the sauce and the cheese. (Ooohhh..that explains the reviews!) SMDH...for that reason I'll give them a second try! Charging $6.00 for a single slice of pizza, $9.00 for a cocoa beef patty, and $3.00 to $4.00 for a drink is excessive—especially considering you're now more expensive than many well-established pizza restaurants in Manhattan.

Additionally, food safety should always be a priority. Please ensure that gloves are worn when preparing and serving food to maintain proper hygiene standards.
