Honestly customer service is not that great. Ordered take out for delivery, when speaking to the girl to place the order she barely knew the menu. Almost anything we asked for they were not able to make or accommodate us in anyway. Requested a large pie with vodka sauce instead of red sauce, answer was no it cannot be done, requested a chicken parm hero with vodka sauce instead of red sauce, again answer was no it cannot be be done. But I can order spaghetti with vodka sauce on the side, eggplant parm no cheese only to receive it with cheese. No effort whatsoever, and the sad part is we’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and ordered from them for years but the quality, service and attitude has dropped drastically in a bad way, and the prices have only gone up. I’m pretty sure if another pizzeria were to open up with great service, quality food with decent prices and a humble attitude, this place would lose all of its business and charm. The business is hospitality and people come to your place spending their hard earned money, the least you could do is appreciate them for supporting your business keeping the attitude in check and be some what accommodating, I’m sure it would go a long way. Or maybe your business has been around to long and do not want to change with the times and give the people what they’re asking for even though they are...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at Fresh Meadows Pizzeria & Restaurant recently. I had ordered catering for a special event and arrived at the agreed-upon pickup time, only to find that my order wasn’t ready. While delays can happen, what made the situation far worse was the manner in which the staff handled it. The staff seemed disorganized and dismissive, but what truly crossed the line was the discriminatory behavior I encountered. When I inquired about the delay, one of the employees made an inappropriate comment about my ethnicity, implying that my presence there was somehow different or less deserving of respect. The comment, "She is American, while I am asian" was not only offensive but completely unprofessional. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it made an already frustrating situation even worse. I understand that mistakes can occur and things can go wrong, but making sure to treat customers with respect should always be a top priority. Sadly, Fresh Meadows Pizzeria & Restaurant fell short in both service and courtesy. For anyone considering ordering from here, I’d suggest being cautious, especially if you value a respectful and professional environment. There are many other pizzerias that prioritize both quality and customer service without resorting to...
Read moreI found this place from a Google search for "pizza near me" after spending a couple of hours with my kids and niblings at Cunningham Park. What a pleasant surprise! I can't believe I have been missing out on such tasty food less than 3 miles away from me.
The pizza was fresh and delicious. Just the right amount of chewiness to the crust.
The garlic knots were a tasty combination of soft crumb and balanced flavor of garlic and herbs.
And the tomato sauce! Can we talk about the sauce? OMG, the flavor was so fresh that you would swear that they had a field of San Marzano tomatoes at the back of the restaurant. It paired perfectly with the mozzarella sticks, but I am not ashamed to admit that I ate it alone.
I had the eggplant lasagne with meat sauce, and my husband had the eggplant parmigiana with chicken breast. We both loved our dishes. I tried the chicken breast, which was tender. The lasagne was layered just right. Not too much cheese or sauce, so the eggplant flavor still shined.
The service was awesome. We were a group of 2 adults and 6 kids. Our server was attentive and helpful, responding to our needs and checking up on us often.
I will definitely be going back. If you haven't tried this gem in Fresh Meadows, you...
