The restaurant is located in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. Soup, appetizers, salad, entrees, noodles, bento boxes, sushi, sashimi and party trays are available. The salmon teriyaki bento box included soup or salad, California roll, three shumai, shrimp and vegetable tempura with white rice. The salmon was fresh and slightly breaded. The sushi deluxe included ten pieces of sushi and a California roll. The nabeyaki udon soup was prepared with thick noodles and shrimp tempura on the side, chicken, fish cake, vegetables and a poached egg. The food was tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

$18.00 Salmon teriyaki bento box: (Shameful excuse for a meal) I asked for the teriyaki sauce on the side, and on closer examination, I see that it was dredged in flour and DEEP FRIED. The salmon portion was about 2 ounces for what I paid and tasted fishy and not fresh. Pitiful! They also refused to give me the vegetables steamed on the side and said they only batter and deep fry it. The rice portion was pitiful as well. I felt completely unsatisfied and still hungry afterward. I will not return.

The best sushi place!! I've tried eating in and getting takeout. The ambiance in the restaurant is great, and it's clean. The ingredients are fresh, and they give you plenty! If you're unsure what to order, I highly recommend it

I'm sorry to say this place is very average, leaning more towards being not so good. The only thing that was great was the customer service. Everyone was so nice, we got sake & the woman kept pouring it for us but then again she did it so often that it felt like she was trying to get us drunk lol.. when we finished the sake, she was like 2 more, right & didn't even wait for an answer. The food was meh.. we got the beef negamaki appetizer which was bad. It was mush on the inside & the meat was overcooked, dry & krispy. I like my meat medium rare. The roll we got was actually not so bad. I honestly can't remember the name, perhaps because we had 4 bottles of large sake lol.. but it was an eel type one. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Why there are grapes & sting beans hanging from the ceiling is beyond me but whatever.. I wish I could say I reccomend this place, but I wouldn't. If you must have sushi & it's not only late but you're right there & can't travel towards 86th street where there's way better places, then sure, I...

The food has always been very good. My husband gets sushi and sashimi and I stick to cooked items. I can't believe the others said that their decor is excellent. It looks as though it was left over from an Italian restaurant whereas there are artificial grapes and what looks like zucchini hanging from a trellis overhead. They could use a little sprucing up. Also, they don't use glass dishes or china. They use melmac and the chopsticks they give you are disposable wooden ones, not plastic. However, as I started out saying, their food is very good and well priced. After reading one of the reviews, I realized that the young man who wrote the review is not reviewing Fujiyama on 13th avenue because the restaurant is nothing like...
