Extremely angry and disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and unprofessional manner in this office. I went in needing bloodwork done to meet requirements for my job that are time sensitive. After several days of waiting for my results (when I was told it would only take 2-3 days max to receive all my results), I only had received 4 out of the 9 ordered. To put into context, all 9 exams were marked STAT, written plainly, and to avoid any confusion the proper ICD-10 codes were also written down. Therefore, I decided to call LABCORP to try and understand why the other results are taking so long. Turns out (according to the 3 different customer service representatives I spoke to), the front desk receptionist (who was also my technician taking my blood) never input 5 out of the 9 exams into the computer that generate the correct amount of tubes needing to be drawn. Therefore, they did not have enough blood to complete all the tests. This comes after the fact that I double checked with her what exams were being done before she drew my blood. She told me that everything seemed to be in order, yet still missed half of my exams to be marked into the computer from the requisition. As someone who had a phobia of needles due to trama, this lack of attention to detail and having to REDO more than half my tests and take blood from an arm that does not have nearly as good veins is disgusting. Less than a week later I have to redo exams because they do not pay attention to what is going on. I have worked in the medical field and not once has our office neglected to double check the exams, especially when the room was completely empty and there was only one patient (I.e. me). This has happened to me a few times with this company and even to family members and friends. I donāt understand how clinically trained technicians make such poor mistakes when having to deal...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI only come here if I absolutely need to such as in instances where they are last resort with open appt times. The nurses drawing blood have always been nice but every time the front desk is so nasty! Not just to me but to others. They talk down to you like you are dumb and donāt know what you are doing. They yell at you when you are asking simple questions or need clarification. Today I was dropping off a sample and the guy at the front asked if I had a dr order. I said yes. He asked me 3 times if the order was from a dr and if it needed to be at the Dr office. Um I know what my dr instructions were. Then he asked to see the order which is in a little pocket attached to the bag. I didnāt know the pocket was on the outside. So I start to open the bag and he goes NO! The order! And points at the bag Iām holding. Me now looking confused I point to the other paper I have and he yells again NO! And points at the bag I am holding. He keeps aggressively pointing and telling me no and at this point I say yes Iām trying to get to the paper I donāt know what you want! I realized eventually after opening the bag that the pocket was on the outside and gave him the order. I said what did you think I was going to do hand you a container of stool? He could have at least just said the pocket is on the outside and that wouldāve saved all of the yelling and pointing and confusion. The front desk needs to work on their professionalism and proper skills. Donāt go here unless you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRUDE, IMPATIENT, DISRESPECTFUL staff member (a man) named Mr.Ashok (as he told me his name) and very long wait time. I have been going to this location for 5 years in a row for annual blood work for myself and my family. Staff was amazing back then. My toddler didnāt cry a single time we would do the blood work for him. Lately (2 years or so) Iāve been noticing how rude MrAshok is. Same thing my husband told me that he talks in a very unprofessional, impatient and arrogant way to the patients. But since it was our place to go to for these 5 years I brought my kid there again. The kid got scared of needle and Mr.Ashok told us to wait a little and he would do it for us again. Thanks for that! We came back in 15 min ready to do it and this time (out of last 5 years) MrAshok wasnāt able to stick needle into my sons vein right away and Kid started screaming badly because of pain, I waited a few seconds while Mr Ashok was getting that vein and after that I loudly asked him to stop because kid was screaming and Iām not gonna traumatize him. What Mr Ashok said to us with a big anger? - āNext time you go somewhere else , I will not do it for you. Go somewhere elseā. Well thatās what we are going to do and never to...
