I've been ordering from this place for a couple of years and their tacos are delicious. They're generous with their meat portions and are accomodating with special instructions. For their vegetarian taco option I wish they had something more than just roasted vegetables like mushrooms.

The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is my experience with the guacamole. When they make their guacamole fresh to order, it's one of the best guacamole I've ever had. I love that there are actually chunks of avocado in it instead of it all being mashed/puree texture. But there have been a handful of times when I received not so fresh guacamole. And of course you can tell because the color has darkened and the taste has become...a bit acidic? I end up throwing most away and each time I debate if I should order it or not. I know I can call and tell them but I just never have. This is the appetizer I'm referring to because they do have a smaller portion which is a side order that I have also had experience with it not being so fresh. I figured the bigger portion means they will make fresh to order but not always the case.

Sorry I've gone on for so long but I hope they always make the appetizer guacamole upon ordering! It's a good place with nice people and...

A nice little eatery with a cobbled together decor, wooden table here, metal one there, Formica tables. Suppose it is to give it a Mexican cantina look to the establishment. On a side note, they do not have a liquor license as of yet, so no cerveza with your food, just soda and juice. Now having said this, they make some very excellent Mexican food. My wife had a selection of tacos, which were nice and fresh. All presented very clean, no globs of sour cream or refried beans or loads of cheese, just nice clean flavors. Personally, I had the Churrasco which was grilled to my requested medium rare. Well seasoned and served with rice and beans and some guacamole. I left nothing on my plate, not a single bean. Also, order the guac as an appetizer which was served with freshly fried tortilla chips and this delicious smoky salsa. All in all, I hope they stay in business for many many years because I...

I've now had delivery from them 5 times and I think that their food is great. I always order the battered fish tacos, which are excellent, but it was their Chelitas salad I ordered yesterday that put them to the top of my list. Fresh spinach, pickled red onions, heirloom beans (?), And queso fresco, etc. This salad was so great I saved half for lunch today and it was so fresh it didn't wilt in my fridge overnight ( sometimes that crisper drawer works well). It was so delicious to me that I didn't even use the balsamic chili dressing, even though that was pretty tasty. I am not a big salsa guy but there's is mucho fresco.... There are a number of above average Mexican restaurants in this area of southern Brooklyn but this is amongst the too of them. Highly recommend based on my experiences. I'm not sure on their phase 2 status yet but someday I wil definetely visit to eat at their...

Their food is pretty good 👍. I got their super nachos with grilled chicken, the guacamole and chips, and then their special fried corn on a cob through seamless. Their super nacho with chicken was pretty good, it had alot of beans in it tho... along with some jalapeno, pico de gallo, guacamole, and melted cheese on top. The guacamole in the nachos are the same as the guacamole with chip, it was very fresh (but a little pricey... 😅 for the small container of it...). Their chips...in both the nachos and with the guacamole were tbh... a little stale @__@... the corn was pretty good tho, it was slightly charred and then covered with the chipotle mayo, sour cream and the cheese. 👍 Overall the food was good and their delivery was very quick 🙂. On seamless, they have 2 coupons u could use on ur order: either free chips and salsa with a $15 order or 15% off a ordered of $15 ✔.

Food was ok but very pricey in the end. Turns out the free chips that Mexican restaurants usually offer were actually $8. We weren't even notified of anything till the bill came. The server just brought the chips to the table. 5% credit card charge seemed crazy too. There was a very tiny unnoticeable written sign at the table saying there was an 18% gratuity included in the bill which was fine, but my husband almost tipped another 22% because the sign was so unnoticeable. The math wasn't mathing and he noticed after he came back from the restroom. In the end it was like $90 for two of us and we weren't even ful. No drinks just a coke. I was joking with him that I've only been to an omakase place without feeling full at the end but not a Mexican place.

I came sometime in January 2022 and was asked for vax card, which I appreciate because it reflects this establishment is compliant of health and cleanliness requirements. The space was very relaxed and I enjoyed the ambiance. The waitress was friendly and brought out water as well as clarifying my inquiries about the menu. This gives me the impression of a family run vibe as my server appeared relatively young in age and was super attentive. The chips and salsa were amazing! I had the chile relleno with chicken which was perfectly seasoned and lacked no flavor 🙏🏽 the rice and beans was good, but my focus and contentment was with the main dish the chile. I will definitely be back.
