I would like to add a higher rating but unfortunately I cannot. I’ve been coming here for years with my family as we live in the neighborhood. My parents made a reservation yesterday over the phone since they’re not technologically savvy. They went today at the time of the reservation and were told their reservation was made for March 22, 2025. The manager told them they can’t be accommodated and would not apologize on behalf of his staff for the mistake. I called and spoke to the manager because my mother was extremely upset. The manager refused to give me his name, and said he does not have to give it. He refused to apologize on behalf of his staff and take responsibility for this error. He said it’s not his problem and was extremely condescending. I’ve noticed this behavior on several occasions even in the restaurant. I’ve come alone with friends and have been treated kindly by this manager. It’s extremely inappropriate to treat younger patrons nicely while talking down to older ones especially people who come to the restaurant often. It’s understandable to not have seating available but as a manager of a restaurant you have to take responsibility for the actions/errors of your...

Gigino's is our favorite neighborhood restaurant! It has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is consistently good. All the servers are excellent, but we were especially delighted to have Sara, who we have enjoyed at the previous location at Wagner Park. So wonderful to see her at Tribeca location. She is a superb server that always makes you feel very welcome (she really knows her wine, too). Food: The classics like the gnocchi with meatballs is very good, but two standouts are the Gamberoni Positano (shrimp simmered in a carrot & ginger sauce over pea risotto) and the Gamberoni Tre Torri (Shrimp sautéed with bacon, spinach, calamarata pasta, garlic & olive oil). The calamarata pasta is rings of pasta that have been sauteed (not boiled!) with the other ingredients. Sensational! Also, based on other reviewers I ordered the Margherita Pizza and it was top notch pizza! The sauce has the BEST flavor and the crust is blackened in all the right places. Drinks: Wine by the glass has good offerings that they do change, but my favorite is the Gavi di Gavi and the Chianti...

We went there after an evening activity nearby. We had reservations and were seated promptly. However, as soon as the server learned that we werent going to order drinks, we started to be ignored in favor of other tables that were ordering alcohol (in anticipation for larger tips i assume) we were served food but there was no follow up on how the food was or if we needed anything. we had to ask multiple times for our waters to be refilled. And to top it off, we ordered dessert and for 30 mins there was nothing. the server blamed it on the kitchen and said it will be out in 5 mins. another 10 mins later when i grabbed a different waiter to complain since our waiter was ignoring our table, she came running over saying oh i got this. We basically canceled the order at that point and asked for our check because we had had it by that point. Wont be going back to this place again. Only reason i didnt give it 1 star is because the food was somewhat decent, and not...

I was in NYC for a quick work trip and stopped in for a quick bite to eat before bolting off to the airport. I assumed I’d be offered a salad or some basic pasta with red sauce as my option if I wanted something vegan. I was totally wrong! They had a fully vegan option on the menu which was a beet pasta and it was amazing! Pasta was cooked perfectly, extremely clean and fresh tasting, and also very filling. So much better than any meal I could have got a JFK! Beyond thrilled I stumbled into this place and would absolutely go back.

This was my favourite meal from my week’s stay in NYC. The pasta was absolutely delicious, the flavours were perfectly proportioned. The bread they give with the table was very tasty and fresh. The wine was great and was served chilled, which isn’t always a given in New York. I finished my meal with a Dirty Martini. I don’t have them a lot but this was by far the nicest I’ve ever had made for me. Service was great, not over the top, just there when you needed them.
