Food is always great , and as a regular of 3 years out of all the bartenders the one with the ponytail is always rude and snotty . Eric and the others are always nice and sweet and very friendly ! However he is just very nasty and probably racist…all other guest weren’t subjected to tip but somehow it was “annoying” that i didnt tip because of his drowsy mood . I ALWAYS tip the others , especially the fact that im a regular i have a great time always but this particular one seems to hate his job and the people of color that he may serve..great place but this bartender has to go . He literally said “ you never tip me and its getting annoying now “ with dramatic sighs…if you hate your job then QUIT . I have a well paying job and my money is just as green as others so why cant my services be the same ? Ridiculous!!!! Smh . Definitely unpleasant…i hate it though because the place really is great ! I spend great money there !! There should be no reason to be treated this way . Customer service is...
Read moreWe were wandering around downtown looking for an open bar on a Thursday night at 10:30. It was like the search for the missing link. Finally, after a 30 minute circular hike, we found a bar open. Plopping down at two corner seats, we just wanted a cocktail to pull us through our first evening in NYC.

Drinks were strong, cheap, and everyone was welcoming. This was the first bar I was able to sit and lean on in 14 months. I can’t think of a better bar to finally christen as my first. Thank you Eric and thank...
Read moreWent here for jazz Sunday brunch.
We got there around 1pm for a 1:30pm performance and luckily the line wasn't too bad outside and just waited a few minutes before door open. Reception was quick to check us in and seat us. We had ample time to peruse the menu and decide. Food came out promptly. The burger was pretty mammoth. Decent French fries. The drinks were ok. Bloody Mary not bad. Our server was receptive when we wanted more drinks during the performance but for the most part they leave you alone to enjoy the show. We were lucky and had a Japanese composer whose orchestra played many of her original compositions. We really enjoyed ourselves and didn't really have anything to complain about. If you are looking to have a little twist to brunch, I stronger consider you...
