Golan Heights — Restaurant in New York

When I'm not in NYC, I crave this place.... I've never had rude service, out of product it or really any other issue. They're prompt, polite, and serve fresh food. (Kosher, too) Israeli salad, chicken and meat shawarma, fresh veggie salads (about 6-8 good ones), "frites" or fries for the sandwiches, and other delicious menu items. Pita, "laffa" ( flat middle eastern bread), for the sandwiches, bowls for the players and salad. The owner is present, tri lingual , and pleasant It's not fancy. I highly recommend...

Golan Heights serves by far the best shawarma sandwiches I’ve had outside of Israel. The myriad of sauces, such as their green charif, amba, and of course techina make all their sandwiches so addictive. It makes it generally worth it to pay the few extra bucks for Laffa over the Pita. They also offer other products with interesting names like “Zaidy’s” (spicy) poppers and “Stupid” (mix) chicken. They have a small space with a few tables, but I’d recommend this place for takeout like...

the only falafel and shwarma in miles and it's pretty good.. for NY. really good pita! but the salads are made with the cheapest vegetables, and the spices and sauces are very Ashkenazi (their hot sauce has more water than the Kineret). also, I didn't like the zionist propaganda everywhere, and if you're a non jew, the wrong kind of jew, or you bring a non jew with you, get ready for some stares, everyone there is super racist! way over priced...probably to weed...
