Horrible employees except for the one dude with glasses. The two African American women and the two old cranky white women are beyond horrible. Unhelpful, rude and despicable behavior. When asked a question they pause and stare then answer with rude condescending answer. The security guard "chick" is also rude and stares at you should you talk to yourself or sneeze yet she lets the teens to continue to be loud for their entire visit. I won't get into specifics as I have enough trouble with the employees here.
Surprised to read other reviews where folks said employees were friendly. Friendly they are not. Miserable and crusty yes. Guess your miles may vary. Too much chatter and phones constantly ringing. Security guard too lazy to stop leaning on front main desk to realize.
Downstairs is the catacombs for zombies and misfits but there are plugs there and places to work on laptop. Zero plugs on main floor and self check out broken. Wifi drops out and hours are limited IMHO. Like a meeting that shut down the entire library except for two hours. I would give this place ZERO stars but was forced to give one. Shame this old relic of a library has old, rude relics...

The first floor, which houses the adult section, is too open and expansive, resulting in poor acoustics, every sound echoes throughout the space, making it difficult to concentrate. Additionally, noise from the children’s section on the second floor easily carries down; while it’s understandable that kids will be energetic, the space should have been enclosed to contain the sound. Installing sound-dampening wall panels on the first floor would significantly improve the noise level. Given how much unused space there is, the library could also benefit from more seating options, such as study carrels or booths. Also not many book shelves they should add more...
Read moreJust reopened, and looks great! First floor is adult, second floor is children’s and third floor is for teens, with a quiet study space with computers on the third floor. The first floor has printers, computers, and a long table with outlets if you’re bringing your own laptop to work, with space for maybe 20 people. The browsing collection for adults is small, but they have staff picks of popular books that are wonderful. They have a bathroom on each floor and an event space in the basement. They’re also hosting events regularly. Wish they had a more hefty browsable collection, but as is it seems like a nice community space, a good space for kids and teens with natural light, and you can pick up...
