After years of enjoying this chocolate filled, hard-to-find Babka, I was so disappointed to discover how much the quality has deteriorated. When my sister-in-law in PA was able to find these and the Rugelach in Wegmans while we visited, we tore into one immediately and packed the rest to bring home to NC. Even from the exterior view, it was obvious there was barely any chocolate in two of them although the third looked promising. Unfortunately, the cake was rather dry, tasteless and had only a few swirls of chocolate. I called Green's when I arrived back home but the customer service rep was barely audible and very difficult to understand. She said each is hand made daily and that some people don't like a lot of chocolate (????). After thinking about her response, I tried calling back and left 2 messages and then tried again 4 times the following day and finally received a text with their email address as I had indicated I wanted to speak with a Manager. The email address she supplied was inaccurate and the one on their site keeps coming back as "undeliverable" also. The chocolate Rugelach was equally disappointing. Read moreI ordered babkas to be delivered to my mom for shabbat after thanksgiving which never arrived. I paid an extra $30 for expedited delivery. I was sent a tracking number which said items were delivered, but they must have delivered to wrong address. I have emailed green's at least four times and spoken with the staff twice, and left messages at least three times(they never once called me back, I had to get them on the phone). They don't answer to phone often. I got one email back saying they were going to open a ticket with UPS about the delivery, and when they got their money back they would send out more cakes. That is not how customer service works...they needed to send out the cakes to her, and not if and when they get their money back from UPS. Meanwhile, I have not heard back from them, have asked that a manager call who never has. I told one of the staff that my mother is leaving for Israel on 12/24 and that she should get delivery before she leaves. I'm sure not that I've written this review, they will send that cakes to my mom, which will sit there and get stale while she is in Israel. The worst customer...
Read more2 orders, mine was delivered on time but very sweet products and some plastic in them... The 2nd one was scheduled to be shipped later. Thy didn't ship it, I call and they tell me they did, I call fedex and they say they didn't receive anything (tracking was still only showing label created but no pick.up), I then get an email from the bakery telling me they didn't ship it because one of the products was still in the oven (they advertise same day shipment if order is placed before 2 pm yet they couldn't have the products ready, though confirmation email with tracking number states package is ready, for scheduled orders), I call again and they switch to email message stating that the products weren't ready! no sorry, extra day before it arrives so unplanned delay, they don't care! Can't recommend this! Products are mid level (that's if you don't get plastic in them too, as bonus-pics), customer support is 0 (they no longer reply to my mails to tell me why they lied to me and why they have false advertising) and the overall experience is far from being anything...
