Hemo's Spot Morris Park — Restaurant in New York

Always ordered an acai bowl from here. But last night (12/16/23) I ordered one for dinner. I hadn’t ate anything prior other than breakfast both my husband and I had. For dinner I had an acai bowl from here while he had a burrito from elsewhere. He’s been fine all day and night. I spent the ENTIRE night in the worst pain and vomitting and diarrhea all night and morning and I’m still running to the bathroom 12/18 and in so much pain and discomfort. Idk what caused this.. I’m assuming they use gloves and don’t change them out when handling meats etc. I really don’t know but this is the second time I’ve ever had food poisoning my entire life and it was just an acai bowl. MY REVIEW KEEPS GETTING REMOVED ON DOORDASH!!!! This is a health hazard!!!...

Didn’t take pictures because we inhaled everything so quickly. I always tried to find a good smoothie spot in the Bronx but some places can be so inconsistent and just not good. Took a chance on this place when I had a craving for an açaí bowl at 10pm and they were open so we went for it. W O W. The Nutella Açaí bowl was so good I ordered the same thing again today. My boyfriend got the Sunshine smoothie yesterday and the Butter Nutter smoothie today and both were so delicious. Their prices are awesome. I have ordered from Hemo's Spot Morris Park off and on for about a month. It has become one of my top favorite fresh juice spots. Their juices have help me get over a bad cold/sinus thing a few weeks ago. I ordered the O Flu, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice and their Kryptonite, ginger, cayenne pepper, lemon, A's Waterbomb in the last 4 weeks. I have juice spots in my area but they don't compare to Hemo's Spot. If there's any issue or questions the gentleman and staff there are very helpful.
