they have a 4 review based on food alone, authenticity of their menu and the quality of the items they have on menu. So far I have dined take out only 3x. First time I had carnitas tacos and the guacamole and chips. The tacos were very good, the pork was very tasty, nice dice of onion, tomato, radish and cilantro with a squeeze of lime. Yes they also have fresh chips which are made to order but I found them a little bit too oily. I will say that the guacamole was on point, creamy avocado with a hint of salt, lime and chunky. 2nd time, I had a torta milanesa with chicken. Wow, let me just say that this was out of this world. The bread was like that of a panini, there was a garlic black bean spread inside with a nice cutlet of chicken lightly breaded, pickled jalapenos, onion, tomato, cilantro, cheese that was to die for. Good size sandwhich and it was only $5 from the lunch specials. went back a few days ago and I had tacos again. In the last month I have been 3x for lunch. now decor is another story, the place only has seating for 8ppl, so you get the idea a complete hole in the wall. Burrito was mainly rice, aside from a few pigeon peas and protein all on one side. Flavor was as if eating a bland bowl of cheesy rice, flavored with a slice of tomato and few slivers of onions, with a pocket of meat at the end as to curry favor for your carbohydrate consumption endeavors. The tamales though, are a different story. Chicken will be a bit dry, but the mole sauce comes through and provides at last something of interest. Even the burnt end of the tamale was a flavor highlight in an otherwise dull tasting meal.

All in all, will give them another chance for they hold a monopoly in Tex Mex in my immediate area and would like to explore more of...

I have ordered from GMC Temaxcal a lot over the past few years on Seamless, the food is generally good, however that all changed last night. The food was terrible. The burrito was made with chicken, not pork, (how I ordered it), and the chicken in the torta was rock-hard, inedible. Maybe they had someone new cooking, i'm not sure. But when I called seamless to get refunded, the restaurant flat out refused, blamed it on me and said I would have to call them so we can get to the bottom of this. Absolute nonsense. I will never order from them again. You lost a loyal customer today, hope that $20 bucks you save...
