Hot Dog Charlie's Lansingburgh — Restaurant in New York

Was just harassed by employees because I sat In my car at 8 pm asking my 12 year old daughter what she wanted instead of fish fry because hot dog charlies closed at 7(i didnt knw)...the employee actually made me afraid...and tapped on my window asking me what i needed and why was I there?..I owned a restaurant!...not even one block from there some years ago (Badass burrito) and I found this atrocious!...that i.needed to explain my singular presence while i texted my 12 year old to see what she wanted instead that would still be open because of work all day on Sundays and just got home myself. .they were rude and aggressive with me.i know it's lansingburgh(ghetto) but please be kind. I felt threatened by the employee! This was unacceptable for any employee.if my 2 12year old had been in the car with me would I have gotten the same treatment??..i feel discriminated against being alone in my car ..I feel harassed and intiimidated Wth?.was simply texting my 12 year old daughter and got treated like a gangster...she should be fired!! Stay out of lansingburgh its definitely not the place it used to be..for...

Edit . .. I stopped by the store that just reopened in Cohoes to take a couple photos ..added.... they have not completed the outside yet. .. It was too early for it to be open. Maybe another time. A couple photos got deleted . Oh well. It was sad to read the bad reviews. There were many good ones . I have been going to Hot Dod Charlie's since I was a kid many years ago. I actually met Charlie back then. And talked to him many times at the Albany store. Also knew his brother Johnnie who actually opened his own hot dog place. My father knew him well. I used to stop by the store in Cohoes before the fire . I did stop in the Lansingburgh store not that long ago . I was glad, years ago that they changed from natural casing to skinless. I still enjoyed the taste and the sauce. Years ago I would occasionally buy some sauce in a jar from some supermarkets. I will probably stop in...

Im giving a 5 star because the service i recieved tonight was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. I didn't get names but it was a woman and young man, Saturday evening July 12th. I came in with my family, ordered a fairly large order that came out pretty quickly. My son is autistic and will only eat hot dogs that are what we call "perfect" No grill marks or any different color. They perfected his hot dogs. no eye rolls. no annoyance. no questions asked. then a few moments later my 4 year old drops her soda all over the floor. Again, no eye rolls, no annoyance, no questions asked. she positively went and got a mop and cleaned it up while chatting with my children. They made the whole experience Great. I hope the GM finds out who they are and gives these 2 a pat on the back because they deserve to be...
