However the pane di casa is awesome as well. Most items are produced on the premises by very talented bakers. Service is friendly, fast and professional.

The toll for the Verrazano-Narrows is not to be taken lightly, but traveling from Staten Island to Bensonhurst, Brooklyn is worth every cent for this bakery. The breads have no parallel. Best, hands down. If you are in the area, or lucky enough to live close by, definitely stop by for a loaf of French bread. Simple and perfect.

Small and cozy bakery on 17th avenue with range of delicious cookies and breads. I grabbed small tomato bread and onion bread and both of them where very tasty. As for service - the lady was very welcoming and nice.

Small and quaint with friendly service. We got the panini bread but after toasting and eating it the next day, we regretted not getting more. Would love to go back and try their focaccia, semolina bread, and prosciutto bread. They sell out fast and oftentimes have crazy lines, and people come all the way from NJ and Long Island to...

Amazing old school bread bakery. The have the freshest and most varieties of good old fashioned Italian breads hands down! They even have some fantastic foccacia and onion breads! This has to be one of the LAST holdouts in Bensonhurst to get great Italian bread! Try it out and you won't regret it! Hopefully it'll be around a...
