Mochick Tea (Dyker Heights) — Restaurant in New York

Often times, I will crave Japanese food in the afternoon after a hard workout at the gym. The shrimp tempura and fried chicken onigiris are my go to but if I’m cutting carbs I’ll just stick to a regular chicken bento box. I highly suggest these two for people who are new to Japanese cuisine.

Of course the American options such as French fries, fried chicken and calamari are always an option as a late night snack since they conveniently stay open until 9:30ish pm. Whenever I feel like treating myself I will also occasionally grab a taro milk tea, which I won’t lie changed my life.

The staff, while busy, are very attentive and will often times try their best to provide much accommodation, helping with anything needed or requested to be modified in orders. The store is also very very gracious and provides a plethora of promotions which show that they care a lot about customers.

Be sure to note that the restaurant is extremely busy around 1-3pm when the high school kids get out of school and...

Great place for cheap eats and drinks. They have a variety of cooked foods such as Onigiris, Bento boxes, and small appetizers. They also have an assortment of fruit teas and smoothies.

I ordered the Eel onigiri, Shrimp Tempura onigiri, and the popcorn chicken Bento box. The Bento box came with a fruit tea of your choice, so I also got a Passionfruit fruit tea.

The onigiris had a lot of tasty fillings and were large in size. My favorite was the Eel, but the Shrimp Tempura was amazing as well.

The popcorn chicken Bento box did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy and juicy, and it was laid on top of a bed of sushi rice. The Bento box included sides of salt & pepper cauliflower and seaweed salad. Both were tasty and good compliments.

The passionfruit fruit tea had great flavor, and you can tell they used fresh fruit in their teas.

Mochick Tea in Dyker Heights is a hidden gem! 🍵✨ Their mochi donuts are hands down the best and most authentic I’ve ever had — soft, chewy, perfectly made. I’ve tried mochi donuts from so many places, and now I can confidently say nothing compares to these.

Their onigiri is fresh and flavorful, the grilled chicken bento is delicious and filling, and their bubble tea is spot-on every time. The quality here is incredible across the board.
