Good food and good service (atleast when taking your order they are very nice and friendly) but they NEVER WEAR GLOVES!!! I went in today for two sandwiches and the chef was eating a pizza with his bare hands which is completely normal to do and it was his food so to each their own. The very nice girl in the front then gave my order to a lady with glasses in the back.. after a while the lady came back with my sandwich and gave it to the chef to put in the oven in which the exchange was with bare hands.. on top of that the chef had just finished eating his pizza- his hands were not washed. Then he takes out the mozzarella for my sandwich and places it on the sandwich with his bare hands- Like Come on, sir! On the second sandwich the lady brought it to the front (it had not meatballs yet) as they were going to toast the bread, the girl in the front Saw the bread lying there and touched it twice again with her bare hands, the chef did the same.. I asked Them to re-do my sandwich because that was just disgusting. I took a video as well but will not post out of courtesy. The hygiene in this place is not up to par. No matter how great the food tastes I now know and see how careless they treat their customers order and how their food is done, therefore I am no longer interested in being a customer here. Please wear gloves when you’re dealing with food.. fingernails have bacteria.. lots of it … Not to mention you’re sweating and touching your face to touch other people’s food. This place is definitely a gem. Its new and the quality is superb. Bensonhurst born and raised but nowadays the italian pizza places are full of old men who dont wash their hands and can barely keep the business open so they serve overpriced trash on a silver platter. Father sons is much better. Excellent wood fire pizza , brilliant choices, fair prices and quick service! Only problems are the large pizzas are inconsistent, while the small is perfect, they make a large and we found ourselves checking the app to see if we accidentally ordered elsewhere. Totally different pizza (and box brand). Also the fries are one of the best orders w a piping hot big box of fries for 5 bucks however they cheat u sometimes and give u ten fries (instead of the normal 50 ) when u order it w chicken fingers. If ya cheat ppl they notice. Promise. Also they’ll find ways to cheat u like u pay a weird amount (3.50 ) for extra cheese and theres less cheese than on a normal one next to it lol. So yea they seem to just not be vrry good business folks but the chicken caesar is excellent the fries are good chicken fingers good pizza good most of the time great choices affordable prices. This pizza is great. The service is more than a 5 star! I have tired most of their pies and was very happy with all choices. Christina is wonderful she knows 99% of the customers by name and most of the time as soon as she sees you walk in the order is in! My kids get the same thing everyday after school. When they get home they say “mom Christina nailed it again”. I am in there at least 4x a week! With that being said…. I also read the comment from IIham Sal I saw what she wrote and that is soooo far from the truth I was there when the whole thing happened she gave Christina the finger and cursed her out and as a matter of fact she pulls stuff like this is most places she orders from! Those girls in there are far from rude! And I report this IIham person not right that’s she’s trying to spread lies like that… And the funny thing is she returned the pizza after a few slices were missing saying that’s not what she wanted! And she also has her friends posting lies too… Lol anyway their food...
