A HIDDEN GEM IN BROWNSVILLE!

I recently discovered Jigga’s Jerk Spot and I am extremely impressed by the taste and quality of their food. It is named appropriately because if you want Jerk Pork, Jerk Chicken, that is the spot to go to, when first tasted their Jerk Pork, I felt as if I was immediately transported to Jamaica. Not only are they proficient in that, all the other dishes they make are delicious! The curry goat, fried chicken, BBQ ribs, Macaroni & Cheese, just everything, you really can’t go wrong with this place.

The most important thing that I really want to highlight is because the food was so good, I decided to purchase serving trays of food for my mother’s 90th birthday celebration. Being that I just discovered them, I was a bit apprehensive about whether the food would be ready on time for the event, etc., but I’m so glad I took the chance! Jigga, one of the co-owners and an excellent chef, assured me that everything would be well taken cared of and be ready when needed. The day I picked up the food, I met the second co-owner and chef, Jason, he was the one who actually prepared all the meat dishes (BBQ chicken, curry goat, jerk pork). Everything was done to perfection, the taste of the food and the presentation was excellent, my family devoured EVERYTHING and wanted to know where I got the food from. The customer service was stellar and I will definitely use them again for any large events. Another mention is the mac & cheese, it is absolutely delicious, everyone loved it, especially the kids – there is a lady who works there and prepares the mac & cheese, she is on point with it!

Today, September 6, 2024 I purchase a small curry goat from this spot and to the death of me the food spoiled and it Smells that way also, I had an emergency so I had to continue on my journey. I’ve been calling them. The phone is ringing out. The food was packaged nicely wrapped nicely, and this place was recommended to me by my cousin I paid $11 for spoiled food/dog food !!!!! Such a disappointment, I would never purchase from here again, and I strongly urge that you guys...

Real authentic Jerk Chicken spot. They always got smokers and pits going outside. Good music on slam and a full bar in the back. Not to mention they're open late nights.
