Just Delightfull — Restaurant in New York

I don't write many reviews, but I feel obligated to do so when credit is due!

I hosted my husband's 50th birthday party at The Inn at New Hyde Park. They recommended I contact Just Delightfull for decorations and dessert, which I fortunately did.

Just Delightfull did an incredible job. I wanted simple decor for a lounge-like experience. They created a beautiful 50 marquee with the colors I requested and had candles placed throughout the space, setting the vibe I was looking for. The desserts were amazing (and delicious). I wanted a nautical theme, but nothing childish. They created a beautiful dessert station with cakes, pops, pretzels, etc. Fun, colorful and exactly what I had envisioned.

The topper, however, was the custom cake. I sent a few photos of what I was looking for and they hit the ball out of the park. Every single attendee stopped to admire the cake and take photos. Great attention to detail.

And finally, I wanted simple cookies displaying a childhood photo of my husband as party favors. Again, perfect 10.

My correspondence with Just Delightfull was all via email, which suited me best. They were responsive and offered suggestions and guidance. When I arrived at the venue for the party, everything was in place and ready to go.

I highly recommend them and will most definitely contact them again for my next event.

I worked with Just Delightfull for my son’s first birthday party - they provided the cake, custom dessert table, balloons, soft play area, bounce house, backdrops and decor. What initially drew me to them was how I could get everything in one place. They were so easy to work with - we handled everything via phone and email, perfect for a working mom! However, the ease in working with them is just the beginning!!! They were truly the best and created the most special party and moments for my family. The play area was clean, safe, attended to, fully set up and broken down by the team with no stress to the hosts or parents of the party! The kids had a blast!!! The dessert table was the talk of the party and remained so for many days to follow. The desserts were delicious, creative, meticulously detailed, and beyond impressive. I’ve ordered from hear 4 times. Once I ordered a mini cannoli and cupcake tray and it was overly sweet. The second I ordered a birthday cake explosion cake which was overly sweet as well. The third time I ordered a candy explosion cake which was good in taste but arrived three hours later than expected. I understand it was unforeseen circumstances but I had to constantly call for an update and no one called me in the first place when the delivery could not be made on time. This final one is probably why I won’t order from them again. I ordered a custom cake for my sons 4th birthday. The girl on the phone was so nice and we went over the cake in detail. The cake was delicious but the decorations were not. I even paid for more decorations for the cake. They made the dinosaurs way smaller than the reference picture, you could barely see them, and they made them in colors that made them blend in...
