I made a mistake by supporting this place during the pandemic. They periodically confuse my delivery order but I was always ok with it because they would send a new item. However it’s gotten annoying. I’m sure I’m not the only customer who plans meals with drinks accordingly. Also not to mention, yesterday and a couple of times in the past the delivery person has left with my food because i did not answer the phone call. Many times i get guilty BUT I include my apartment number on my address so I always emphasize the door bell. Apparently the delivery person never buzzes because he doesn’t get the complete address when i include it in my order!!. Not his fault but I’m guessing his management. Today they confused my order AGAIN I called for a refund and the lady who picked up assumed I was a Grubhub customer, no I ordered via the k and l direct website. Even if I ordered from a third party who cares are they discriminating against certain customers? The lady on the phone couldn’t refund me because her manager wasn’t in. So this restaurant runs without supervision? During the covid19 pandemic? Who’s ensuring safety measures? She told me to call back after 2 pm (the incident happened around 10:30) which i did but when I asked for Sebastian or David (the names I was given for the managers) I was put on hold multiple times. Read moreI was there today July17th around 12:30pm and I asked one of the employees which it was my cashier at the moment which she wasnt busy if she could please do me the favor and clean the the only table available for me to sit and she said Noo and gave a paper towel and wet the paper towel and wanted ME to clean it. I was in schoked and couldnt believe it myself I asked her if she was being serious about it and she said yess that I had to do it. I asked for her name and wanted to talk to a manager and she told me he is not there that I wont be able to see him. She is a very rude employee her name is PALOMA she would smile and act like everything was a joke. I been a customer there for many yrs and have never had a problem untill today. How dare her tell a customer no she cant clean the table for the customer to clean it themself. David I really would appreciate if you speak to her because PALOMA'S customer service was HORRIBLE she had the nerve to be laughing and when I was leaving to say Byeeee for me to leave which I was never rude to her. Read moreI want to start this by saying that I'm really not the type to complain. I love the food at this deli and most of the staff are very kind and professional. But there is an older woman named Vanessa on the staff that has to be addressed. I've lost count of the times I've called this deli and waited up to twenty minutes on hold only for her to answer the hang up on me, or worse be rude and take my order down incorrectly. It's gotten to the point that if I call and she chooses to answer, when I hear her voice I change my mind and order elsewhere. Today after being hung up on twice, I went in and ordered in person. The staff was great and I only had to wait about ten minutes for my order. During that wait I called the deli three times and was left on hold while this woman was looking at her phone. Clearly she has the volume turned off and only answers when she feels like it. I can only guess how much money she is costing this establishment.
