This was such a fun event, and a great introduction to momos. #nyc #foodie #foodtok #festival #freetibet #thingstodoinnyc . The proceeds from the passports go to Students for Free Tibet, an organization working to end China's occupation in Tibet. The $1 cost for the momos go directly to the restaurants, many owned by Tibetan families. If you would like to learn more about the cause, they will be tagged on my instagram. Also, if you have more information on the current event in Tibet, feel free to put it in the comments 😊

Alrighty...so where do I even begin? Here is this place, appropriately called ā€œDiversity Plazaā€, smack dab right in the place where major transit lines criss-cross at 74th St. Broadway (7 line) and Jackson Heights Roosevelt Ave (E,F,M,R trains) as well as busses and whatever else! It also happens to be in the midst of the most ethnically diverse urban area on the planet! (Queens). Yeah, that is quite significant for any lover of culture! The businesses here are also hardy and thriving in the throes of the crisis that has gripped us all this past year! Having 20-20 vision, I totally have no regret for all the visits here and I would gladly visit here as often...

Former regular street that was closed/paved from vehicle traffic that makes for good open/community space. They have cultural events here and gatherings during the Summer and Fall months. Not the cleanest area and you have some undesireables around but, you are able to social distance somewhat and there are chairs and tables provided by the city. At around sunset/9pm workers do collect/secure...

The Diversity Plaza is not really a plaza, really being some tables and chairs in the middle of a street on Jackson Heights. I watched a film screening there and it was completely inadequate for the volume of people that came. Many stood, shivering in the...
