Clean dining area. The chicken over rice is good. Their white sauce is rich. The vegetable samosas were pre made and by the front counter. I didnât know they would just give me cold samosas without warming them up. Not the hugest disappointment so letâs get to the real problem- maybe it was just an off day but I donât think they have a handle on their online orders. Very disorganized and not timely so I would recommend going in person and ordering. They should focus on getting their online ordering managed and organized to have their fulfillment flow better. They asked a few ppl to see their phones to look at what they ordered. Iâm pretty sure they have a tablet for that to look up orders so whoever was monitoring their uber eats, Grubhub, etc. did not have a handle on it at least for that day. My order wasnât even acknowledged in the app otherwise it wouldâve said âorder in the worksâ and they asked to see my phone when I arrived- then they got the order started, when I ordered in advance. This could really hurt their business the lack of organization. They were telling everyone who collected food through online orders to confirm them on the app. Usually the drivers who pick up need to confirm so the customer can know the food is on the way. Not those who order themselves.. the restaurant needs to open the app and select ready to pick up so anybody ordering out personally can know itâs ready. I donât think they know the difference. Most of the food was already in my stomach digesting and in the app they still didnât press âready for pickupâ concerning for the business. Ppl could easily say they never got it when they did just to get over. I think they definitely need to improve on watching the online orders or just not using it altogether if theyâre not going to be able...
Read moreWas excited to check this place out, but unfortunately not impressed. I ordered on Grubhub to try them out and at first glance the prices are a bit high, I ordered the chicken twist kebab 4/5. Aloo Keema 3.5/5 Plain Paratha 4/5 Daal Maash- they sent dal masoor instead 2/5. Order came with NO chutney & NO salad. Restaurant did not call to say there is no dal Maash just took it on themselves to replace it with whatever they wanted.
UPDATE... so I gave this place a few more tries and was hoping they would redeem themselves but unfortunately they DID NOT.
I ordered 5 chicken twist kebabs on Grubhub and wrote in the comment section to please add chutney & salad, and they did not..
I decided to drive there and try take out instead of ordering through a food app. I got the boneless chicken Karahi. It wasn't BAD, but also wasn't GREAT. The chicken was a bit hard. The place had decent seating & was clean. The guy behind the counter was pleasant.
I also ordered again one last time, ordered another boneless chicken Karahi and some Chinese Hakka chicken noodles. They called me up 45 mins later to tell me they don't have the...
Read moreI just had an incredible meal at a brand new South Asian restaurant at 1075 Allerton Avenue, Bronx, NY, and I canât recommend it enough! This spot opened just two weeks ago, and itâs already making waves with its authentic, flavorful dishes.
I ordered the kebabs, and they were perfectly seasoned and grilled with careâjuicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The naan was fresh out of the tandoor, warm and soft, with a slight crisp that made it the perfect pairing for the kebabs. Everything came together beautifully with the refreshing raita and a cold Coke to wash it down.
The service was fantastic â quick and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant has a cozy vibe, and sitting by the window, I enjoyed the simple, relaxing view as I ate. You can tell theyâre paying attention to all the details, from the quality of the food to the overall dining experience.
If youâre looking for top-notch South Asian cuisine in the Bronx, donât sleep on this place! Whether youâre a local or just passing through, itâs definitely worth...
