On Saturday May 12, 2018 what was supposed to be beautiful day turned out stressful. They did not supply everything that was offered in my package.
For one decoratrt dodged me for a whole month and 2 weeks to speak to the decorator, I didn’t get to completely confirm everything till 4 days before the wedding, which made it exhausting trying to find decor they couldn’t provide me.
Second, everything was not completely set up till during reception. There were no numbers on the tables; guests had to scramble to look for their names. We kept asking the teenage boys they left us to run my wedding if there was a card box? He replied yes but didn’t get it till the mother of the groom asked during cake time. They couldn’t keep up with the party, they definitely needed help. Guest was serving themselves because the guys went MIA For about 20min in the middle of serving the guest. I gave the guys specific instructions on how to cut the cake; as well as offered to have someone cut it if they didn’t really know what they were doing. They assured me that they knew, well they didn’t and caused the entire cake to collapse and cave in. (Pictures will be shared)
The bartender did not have any bartending supplies, such as shakers stirrers, skill. She simply asked if they wanted shots or a type of liquor with coke or sprite. I heavily doubt she was licensed at all she didn’t make anything she was simply sitting there serving drinks, and had a tip jar on the table. (We never discussed if I wanted that)
We had guest coming from the upstairs party because “they wanted to see if it was lit”. There was no security to stop it. I didn’t see the security guard not once, couldn’t tell you how they looked. My wedding was embarrassing. No reliable adult to help. The time went by so fast just having to deal with the issues. They’re we’re supposed to be pitchers for water, I asked the two staff and they looked so confused. I was also supposed to have a floor captain, well I didn’t. My husband dropped off his tuxedo and the receptionist asked how the wedding was? He replied it was ok and when he tried to tell her, she brushed him off because there was another customer that needed her attention. My point is I paid for a bunch of service that I did not receive, I consolidated with a lawyer and he asked me to take some steps before. This emails purpose is to come to an agreement on an amount of money that should be refunded to us for these poor services.

Read moreI had An amazing experience here at the Sanz. I was worried about the colors I picked for my wedding but they did a great job when mixing the colors. Everyone was amazed by how well decorated it was. Richard and Dominga and the ones to go to , not much the other lady who is usually in the office downstairs. Right before the day of my wedding I was making final payments and she was complaining because it was 6:00 ( I guess she wanted to leave) however, they closed at 7:00pm and I called ahead of time to see at what time I could come in and she said before 6:30pm. So she was upset because of my presence but not to take the payment? She really has a bad attitude towards the customers. Anyhow, the Sanz have two spaces . Downstairs and upstairs. The upstairs one it’s only until 12:00pm so if you are looking for something a little after 12:00pm get the downstairs one. Beside the lady at the office I have no complains, Richard was very attentive and have lots of patience. Thank you so much Richard and Dominga. The food was great. An advise I should give the sanz is to have papers and documents more organized when it comes to payment and anything the guest is requesting to prevent future misunderstandings. I ask for a “LOVE TABLE” which I tho I paid and I was charged for. Last minute I was told that I didn’t ask for that kind of table and that I didn’t pay for that specific table. With all the copies and scribble scrabbles they have given me I had no other option to pay for the table which I still don’t know if I was charged for , but I pay for it...
Read moreI had my wedding at The Sanz recently and my wedding was just a dream. I was looking at places for my wedding and no one was able to accommodate all my wants and needs like The Sanz. I was able to meet with Richard a couple of times before the wedding and laid everything out that I wanted on paper. Pamela was always available to answer any of my questions and concerns. The package, which included both venue floors, the food, decoration, limo and bartender was very affordable. I also met with the bartender a couple of times before the event to organize everything. The day of the wedding it was like a completely different venue. The decorations were amazing! They did an awesome job combining the colors that I picked for the wedding. They had a pretty decent size crew working the event and the floor captain was on top of everything. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying our night. I am very grateful for everything that the staff at The Sanz did to make our night special and will definitely continue to book them for...
