Allerton Playground — Attraction in New York

One of the best school playgrounds in the city. Part of PS 121. Has an enclosed full court b-ball area plus 2 other full court areas. Has another enclosed area for handball (does anyone play paddle ball anymore?). Also has a marked track - 9 revolutions = 1 mile. Includes swings and an obstacle facility. Have been coming here since the 60's - spent my formative years here - day and night. Liked the configuration better back then because you could play football and softball. Can't do that now. So many fond memories though - will have some of my ashes scattered there...
