I gave this place 1 star 6 months ago and I returned today and still saw the same situation as before. I ordered the deal of 10 pcs for $12.99 all spicy. I notice all chicken already fried were not on the visible front side which was absolutely empty. Instead, the lady had to go around and pick out my chicken... I saw her actually moving around the bigs ones and looking for the smaller ones. After selecting a few from the corner on her right (all spicy), she returned back to the front and informed me that there were no more spicy chicken and I would have to wait 10 mins or take mild instead. I asked her about the other chickens she was moving around, she replied, they were breasts. I ordered spicy and you have spicy over there so give me all spicy breast, I replied. She did not want to give them until the another girl spoke to her in bengali and she proceeded to give them to me. There used to be an african american girl in that store who served very well and never went through sorting out the chicken to serve customers. All of employees are from bangladesh and they do not eat popeye chicken simple becase it is not halal. I CANNOT GET GOOD SERVICE AND EAT GOOD FROM A PLACE WHERE NO ONE EAT WHAT THEY PREPARE!. I do not recommend this place and please keep an eye open as you place your order... request the chicken to be visible, in the FRONT... and ask them if they eat what they serve. I need to talk to chain management. IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME MORE THAN ONCE, THE VERY SAME LOCATION. I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME ASAP. I will take this to consumers affair. BAD SEVICE NOT WORKING FOR...
Read moreOther reviews have mentioned the long drive-up line, but it’s to be expected with being open later than other restaurants in the area. Another reason for the length of the drive-through is likely how good the food is- even though this location isn’t the closest to us, my wife often insists that we go here just because it’s so much better than the closer ones!
However, last night I had an experience which may turn me off from this location entirely: they didn’t have any spicy chicken! Okay, that’s not the entire story: It’s true, they didn’t have any spicy chicken, but I was told at first that they would in 15 minutes. After talking it over with my wife, I decided to wait, so I went back in line (yes, the extremely long and slow-moving drive-through line) to not inconvenience everyone else- but by the time I got back up to the ordering speaker, they had apparently decided against making another batch of spicy chicken, and instead told me “I don’t think we’ll have any more of that tonight.” They should have just said that in the...
Read moreFood was great as usual. The service was fast and good. However, it seems that the small sides are getting smaller for their price. Also, they had this security that was harrased by this guy who apparently had been in the restaurant earlier and caused some trouble with one of the cashiers and the security. This guy returned and apologized to the security guard then went to the counter to have words with the cashier. The security approached this guy at the counter then things got nasty. This guy was all up in the security's face yelling, cussing, and threating him. The security left and went out into the parking lot. The guy then turned his rant on all of us in the restaurant. The guy followed. Again the guy was up in the security's face. I don't know why none of the Popeyes staff did not call the cops or assist the security. Some of them clearly saw what I did. This security handled himself alfully well for what he went through. He had no radio, gun, or stick to protect himself and no one in the restaurant was looking...
