I came here to purchase an “Aveeno” Lotion and purchased the body wash instead when i noticed it was the wrong item i brung it back the next day and they would not allow me to do an EVEN exchange nor a refund, even though i was not requesting a refund i only wanted an even exchange, the employee called the manager and the manager went ahead to tell me about they’re store policy he said the policy was” without receipt you will only be able to get a refund for LESS than what you paid if its within the past 30days” when i asked him for a copy of the policy so i can see myself he told me he can not print put someone else’s receipt, i told him i purchased this item with my phone number im a MEMBER. He lied and said ok we can not tell if you have purchased the item now or in the last 30days, as i continued to complain he some how prints out a EMPTY receipt from the register which he could’ve done from the start to show me it says what he said it says, i drove home, sat down read the policy carefully and seen that it CLEARLY SAYS THESE EXACT WORDS”RETURN POLICY-we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.if you are not, rite aid will handle your return on a case by case basis with your satisfaction as our TOP PRIORITY.FOR FULL REFUND OF YOUR PURCHASE WITHIN 90days, PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR WELLNESS+ CARD OR RECEIPT. RETURNS WITHOUT RECEIPT WILL RECEIVE THE LOWEST PROMOTION PRICE IN THE LAST 30 days” i then called them back and explained I purchased my item using my phone number you can pull it up in your system your policy says i can have a FULL REFUND because i used my wellness card. I drives back to rite aid and someone else with some brains did my even exchange with no problem! My items were $10.29 my even exchange that I wanted was $10.29 he wanted to give me back $6.15 and make me REPURCHASE the correct item and add the difference after i already paid full price with no discount just for them to take the same item and place it back on the shelves to resale it for $10.29 again. All composition note books, cryolla Pencil and crayons color. All item when scanned on the register by the female associate ( No Name badge) of the employee or employee ID...after scanning it was showing regular price. She called Management staff, Manager or shift manager came in black polo shirt and blue trouser...may be Denim...I explained to him there is a big sign of 75% Clearance..he went with me and he took the sign off and went to the back pharmacy direction, I went back to front register. He came after a minute and said to me with a sign in his hands all items are regular price except back packs. I asked him sign did not specify only backpacks..Sign has " Back to School/ Dollar Days-,75% Clearance. He rudely asked me do u want the items I said yes but on 75% as sign was on those items. He said no, I asked can I talk to other lady shift manager which I know her many years. I m a regular customer not only this I used to be a store manager of Rite Aid 3774 in 2004...and store manager of Easttremont Ave branch as well. I asked his and bcoz he did not wear his Employee ID..he said my name Junior...which sound may be giving correct name or not. I said I m going to complaint bcoz not only misleading and instead sign he read in front if me and he saw sign was there but did not admit his mistake . Did not offer item 75% but his attitude was very rude. I am surprised to store manager and District Manager who hire and trained this kind of manager. The customer service he provided from my experience is worst..and he doesn't know how to treat customer. He can easily upset loyal customer to be angry customer. Please my advice to the management to provide training to the staff. Also female associate was on her cell phone and when she scanned she already informed to him before me that sign are posted on wrong place. Read moreIf i could give it a 0 start i would… i went to get some pull-ups and i asked the manager if he could please bring them down for me because they were in the upper shelf. This person (the manager-tyron) or whoever his name is ( he’s an Indian old guy); replied to me. - IS RIGHT IN THE FRONT IF YOUR EYES , you stupid little girl. I was so taken a back by his response that i asked the security guy to please help me out. That’s when he came and started yelling at me for no reason at all. As a customer that asked for help ; i was screamed and yelled at for no reason. ai feel completely discriminated and social profile. My husband and i have served the community for years now and i am just speechless by the way he reacted and spoke to me. I was so upset and even the cashier told me to report him and that the employees feel intimidated by him. Even the security person didn’t wanted to answer to me when i asked him if that was really the manager- i think he was afraid to say yes… This manager should be fired immediately and i cannot believe how this person work in customer service or is even a manager. I Will not be coming back to this location and i will advocate for my neighbors and my community about this horrific matter. People like him shouldn’t work in my community and ge’s a disrespectful person that should not be getting along with things like this. . I JUST SOMEONE CAN TAKE MATTER OF THIS.
