Latisha Luxury Place — Hotel in New York

Word of Advice don’t book with them ever go and save your money!!!!Ididn’t have a problem first time me and my boyfriend went everything was perfect.The room was nice service was nice and relaxing environment.However,for this time I just tried to go there yesterday and everything was fine.She told me to come in person,bc the website was messing up and not let me book the date that was yesterday to stay there for the night.The owner is a couple and the boyfriend came up first and said hello and then told me the price would be $150 so I’m like ok I can do that but I did tell him that the room I wanted was for $100 on the website and he is like It’s the website price and the deposit $100 but I get it back.Now remind you if I haven’t had a card or Zelle which is attached to the bank account.I would understand the deposit thing but why would I buy that for that price if it’s just cash bc it’s not traceable but it’ was card I was paying with.Anyway I’m between a rock and a hard place bc she telling me that she can’t waive it but she was saying that after she was speaking to her bf and it dawned on me that she’s letting him be money hungry n switch things up last minute. She needs a new partner because she’s losing money n it’s no policy no paperwork just talking.Very unprofessional because they were rushing me to see if I had the extra money.I just left and went to a hotel that was $115.00 bathroom included.BTW idk that we wasn't welcomed she asked for the name n still said pullup my bf didn't tell me to come.Before yall say that bs,realize that u may have some corrupt employees u working with.I said his name numerous times they just want more money and to top it off the room was fine when we left.Also if we messed up the room we weren’t notified by you so cut the bs you called him and asked if we took a towel he said no n u guys said ok and hungup and if you knew that we were supposedly not supposed to come why did you pick up the phone and said yea I can come I called you and asked you you was restocking for stuff in the house so I was waiting on you.You guys are unprofessional because if I was on a block list y would I waste my time coming up there that’s dumb and you mad bc I gave a one star at another location as well.Well maybe you shouldn’t lie on people when you mess up.Because if I left the room in a messed up condition and all that you should have notified me and had me on a block list on no longer able to come you didn’t do that bc y’all wanted more money for a room that didn’t come...

It was great staying here. The rooms and the place itself were very comfortable and pretty. Stayed here with a group of friends so we had gotten the whole place to ourselves. The beds were very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The owner of the place was very nice and accommodating to our group as we had checked in very late (around 8/9pm) & he was very nice with coming and helping us with the WiFi and checking up on how we were when we had called him near midnight. He was very friendly despite us calling him very late and was very accommodating to our needs. He also was very friendly when we were checking out despite us having to check out a bit late. The place had a lot of things available to us like the kitchen and living area with a ton of different things such as cooking/dinnerwares, spices, snacks, coffee, etc. It also had a blow dryer and iron with ironing board readily available to us which was very helpful when we had gotten there as all of our clothes and things were soaked from the rain we were in all day. Overall, amazing place would highly recommend especially if you’re doing group travel like we did. It’s a lovely place and isn’t too far of a walk from food, shops, the subway, the beach,...

My husband and I stayed for one night to attend an event in Brooklyn. |Pros - the location was close to our event. The bedroom looked as pictured online. |Cons- The gentleman that greeted us, reeked of alcohol and loudly provided the passcode to the front door, loud enough for 2 guys that appeared to be neighbors on the front porch to hear. We were terrified. They didn't have a key to our room ready, the gentlemen that greeted us mentioned the " the last couple that rented the room left with the key, but I will get another key for you shortly". |When we returned from our event at 3am, they were 3 people sleeping on the couch in the living room. |The towel provided looked like a thin piece of rag that was used to wipe the floor, it was thin and was actually falling apart. SEE PHOTO ATTACHED.|There is no parking, which was mentioned on their website, we had to park two blocks away. |The hallway smelled like weed. | The place has potential however it needs care, how can you call your business "luxury" when you have dirty old towels? not worth the $260 we paid...
