I bought three loaves of your Raisin Chalah on Monday, April 3, 2017 during my regular grocery shopping at Ideal Food Basket on Sutphin Blvd. in Jamaica, Queens, where I live and I froze two loaves. I'd been eating the first two loaves with butter warmed in my microwave, which was good.
On Wednesday, I got a new stove after having had the same one for 25 years (!) The new stove cooks differently, faster and better. However, I decided to bake some slices of your Raisin Chalah by smearing butter on BEFORE baking on a cookie sheet in my oven (I was going to use the the broiler part on the bottom as I usually do, but I wasn't able to pull that part out) and I lit my oven to 375 degrees and put the slice of bread in on my (also relatively new; I'm having a renaissance of a lot of my apartment now!)) cookie sheet before the stove heated up.
Well! My new oven baked the bottom of the bread to a golden brown and I decided to butter that side too before eating it and it was absolutely delicious! A taste sensation! To think I somewhat reluctantly bought your bread in the first place because there were no Chalah rolls available! I'll buy your raisin loaves all the time now if they're there and I'll eat it double-baked as it were each time now; it bakes up really fast in my new oven too! Thanks for this delicious...

Used to live 4 houses away from korn's main store on fifteenth Avenue with my parents and 5 other siblings. The Korn family were very nice and their sons were learning the business at a very young age and have kept the company going strong. I have been frequenting the bakery for over 40years, I even had the pleasure of bumping into my English teacher from Montauk jr.high school his name is mr. Manning. Anyway thank you to the Korn family for continuing to make a very good product. Even after over 50years when most places have gone out of business or chosen quantity over quality. Please consider opening a store in...
