This room for 1 night costs me $170.00 but i wouldn't have minded that if i got what i paid for......for that price i expected more than what we experienced. The hotel has no parking lot so you have to try to park on the street if you can even find a spot on the street. The neighborhood isnt that good so i didnt feel comfortable parking a 2018 Impala on the street in a bad neighborhood. Also the room was so tiny you could not hardly move. The king size bed takes up the whole room and theres no closet at all. When me and my 2 daughters got in the room we noticed that the bathroom was not clean. The tub was grimy with soap scum and hair in the drain. No shampoo or conditioner or soap in the tub and also by the sink ..there was no soap to even wash your hands after you use the bathroom. I burnt my hands pretty bad from the bathroom sink water being almost boiling temputure. I didnt realize the water would be that hot and also that quick. Thankfully my daughters didnt burn themselves. Also we noticed that the pillows on the bed were not like bed size pillows ...they were the square couch style pillows and only 3 of them. I have never seen pillows that small (6"X6" square) on a king size bed so i called the front desk and asked for regular sized bed pillows and the man said well im not sure if we have any mabey in the laundry room. So i told him we need at least 3 pillows more. They ended up bringing up 2 small bed pillows. Overall im glad that we just needed the room for 1 night. I gave 2 stars only because the manager and most of the staff were nice. But improvements need to be made and if not the price needs...
Read moreWHY ON EARTH DOES THIS PLACE HAVE THREE AND A HALF STARS???? It is ZERO stars at best! When I booked this hotel, I wasn't expecting a lavish suite, but I hoped for a little more than an overpriced closet. First of all, I'd like to point out the fact there is NO ONSITE PARKING. It's not something they try to hide, but it sucks nonetheless. It took us so long to find spots, and when we did finally make our way to our room, the key didn't work! This happened on multiple occasions and it was pretty frustrating. Onto the rooms... awful. Just awful. It was small, dirty, and outdated. The pictures online are VERY decieving. The whole building stank of a smell I couldn't quite put my finger on, but it was so distracting that I could barely sleep. However, the paper thin blankets and uncomfortable, plastic wrapped mattress also could have contributed to that. The walls are scraped, the appliances are old and dingey looking, and broken too! At one point the heater stopped running and I woke up to find that it was 59 degrees in the room. 59 degrees... inside the room... how??? The only thing that was almost nice was the bathroom, poorly cleaned as it was. I'm not hard to please and I never write negative reviews, but this place was a waste of my hard earned money and I'm genuinely furious. It was the worst hotel my fiancé and I have ever stayed at. Please for the love of all that is sacred, do not book a room here. Do not make the same...
Read moreLook, I understand that you get what you paid for, but I at least expect cleanliness, professionalism, and delivery of what was advertised. Do not book this hotel thinking it has a lobby, common area, convenience station, or anything other than two vending machines and a creepy room filled with boxes. The “lobby” is a flight of stairs down from the entrance— not accessible and annoying to carry heavy bags down. The note in the room says that they have items for sale, but when I asked the front desk if they had any tampons for sale he awkwardly laughed and said no. While the staff were pleasant enough, and surely don’t have control over most of my issues, they weren’t very accommodating or apologetic. ||||Plainly, the rooms suck. No other light except for the main in the ceiling (going to bed requires a flashlight), the desk is about a foot wide, and the mini-fridge can’t even open all the way because the room is small. The curtains aren’t even opaque and mine were stained. Thin af walls and a half-working ac. ||||What was the last straw for me was the ants. Day one found one on the floor, stepped on it and brushed it off. Came back at around 3 the next day to a trail of them on the floor and had to step on a bunch. Then I saw a couple crawling on my bed. Yeah, no.||||Will never be staying in a Days Inn again. Don’t stay at this hotel unless you are prepared to deal with the aforementioned, spend your...
