There are 3 main libraians that sit at the main desk. The tall woman with black hair is very nice and very helpful. The Gentiman and the short heavy set woman who are the regular are very loud and at times act like their really don't want to be there. It amaze's me at times the lack of respect their have when having personal conversations on their phone or when siting at the desk conversating with each other. Those two stand out because their seem to go out of the way to ensure the entire library hears there conversations, which at times is very distracting and out of place. Read moreThis is overall a great libary. What can be bad about free books and wifi? But perhaps, because it is a bit older then the 18th ave library it isnt as nice or calm.
I also feel that the design of a library is very imprtant and adds a lot to the mood of people. This library isnt well desinged. Additionally, when compared to other librariesit does not feel as private to sit there given that all seating space is visiblile when one walks in, unlik oethers in the area where you can have a more private, less visibile space.

Read moreThis place is good but I wouldn't reccomend going to this libary but instead go to the libary is 4207 18th ave because it is just so much cleaner, looks hundreds of times better, near a train station, bus station, and even many supermarkets. This libary could be upgraded by a lot and it just seems to be way under furnished. It just seems like a waste of time to have a libary so close next to a libary that is so much better than this one.
