Walked in here as I've heard good things about this place and had a good experience for the most part!

Waddling in at almost 40 weeks preggo, we were seated pretty much immediately around noon on a Saturday. Our server came around to take our drinks order while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We scouted the menu to see if it was to our liking and they offered a variety of Colombian, Mexican, and some American dishes so we decided to stay.

Ordered a Colombian coffee, Shrimp salad, tostones con guacamole, pargo frito, calamari, bandeja típica. Everything came out decently quick! Pargo Frito was omggg.. so crispy yet not oily and same with calamari. I didn't get heartburn like I usually do with oily foods so I took it as a really good sign. Toastones pairs so so well with the guac... salivating just thinking about that again. You also can't go wrong with the Bandeja Típica. Classic Colombian dish with a mix of steak, chicharrón, arepita, guac, chorizo, served with rice. Los todos fue muyyyy chimba.

My only complaint is when I got up to look for the bathroom, I literally stood in front of two waitress and was totally ignored while they took their sweet time chatting to each other about whatever... which is fine like I don't care but it'd be nice if they acknowledged a first time patron needed help to find the bathroom. This is not reflective of our actual server - she was amazing and so attentive and constantly came to clear our tables (maybe a teeny bit rushed as we were still eating and the restaurant wasn't super full but nbd).

Would add this restaurant on my list of contenders next time I'm in the area. The bar area looked like it would be a great time and overall...

Margaritas restaurant is one of the best colombian food in Jackson Heights, NYC. I love the drinks specially frozen margaritas , the manager Jorge is always available to compliment his customers, but, today I did not like the waitress attitude, my husband and I went to watch the soccer game colombia vs Ecuador , the host told me that we need to expend at least $40 dollars in order to watch the soccer game, I said "it's Ok" but , oh , surprise , next to our table were two couples that during the whole soccer game drank one mojito and a margarita, meanwhile we were drinking margaritas and beers, we ordered appetizers and finally a main plate and still the waitress passed by our table many times asking, "one more?" One more? She was on top of us but what about the other people that was there drinking only one drink for the whole game? I think the rule has to be for everybody and the rule was $40 dollars minimum, I think the manager has to speak with the waitresses to be fair with the customers. Also, the fried red snaper...

Went out to eat with my family last night. Things were going well and we had a fun time. I liked the music, Medellin vs Cali was going on in the TV. Food was decent and the presentation was cute with the flowers. But our experience with our server, Cristian Villeg, was terrible. It seemed like he didn’t want to take our order. Then when we wanted to order another round of drinks and tried waving at him but he was stuck watching the soccer game. And then he tried taking mom’s plate twice while she was still eating it and he actually took it the third time without care or asking. We asked for the bill immediately because he was so disrespectful with us. He had an attitude with us the entire time. We felt very rushed. I wish we would have had a different server. Our experience would have been so much better. he circled the tip section on the bill when he gave it to us expecting it. The only time he was attentive to us was receiving our money. He would have gotten a tip if he treated us better and this would have been a...

I had lunch here yesterday with my boyfriend. The place says Mexican restaurant/ sports bar. But they serve all types of cuisine. We wound up ordering typical Colombian food. Of course it wound up being way too much food to consume at once but we had leftovers for later. The service was fast and the waitress was very nice and eager to please. I ordered churrasco chicken. Which is basically a grilled chicken breast it came with rice, salad and fries but I substituted fries for tostones. I didn't like the texture of the chicken in some parts it was mushy. Rice was fine. I added chimuchrri sauce and salsa verde which wasn't spicy at all. My bf ordered the bandeja it comes with rice, beans, grilled steak, chicharron, atepa, fried egg, avocado and sweet plantain all for 15.50. I tasted hos and it was good. We also ordered guacamole and a soup of the day which happened to be beef rib soup. I didn't try it but my bf said it was good. The guacamole was good needed a little heat & lime juice.
