Let’s Do Brunch is a cozy brunch spot tucked away in the South Ozone Park, Queens are.
From the outside it truly doesn’t look like much but as you walk in you will be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful array of rustic/modern chic decor.
I visited twice within one week. I will say during the week more staff may be needed; however, the wait was not extremely long.
Let’s talk about the food…
On my first visit I ordered the chicken and waffle and the jerk chicken tender while my fiancé ordered the lobster roll.
My fiancé thoroughly enjoyed his lobster roll but I was not impressed by the chicken and waffle. My only gripe is the chicken being more like chicken tenders rather than an actual chicken breast for example. The jerk chicken teaser is nearly a piece of chicken marinated in jerk seasoning chopped up on a plate.
Now while it was good, again I was expecting more.
On my second trip, my fiancé ordered the steak breakfast and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. We shared the mimosa flight.
Our second trip everything was so delicious!
The spicy chicken sandwich was nothing short of perfection! I had a bite of my fiancés steak which which was also 10/10 minus nothing.
The mimosa flight was a nice added touch with the choice of 4 flavors. Best flavors in my opinion being the sunset and blueberry

Read moreI will start by saying that I gave the service 1 star, but that is in no way because of my server. She was excellent. However this place needs better management. No one acknowledged us for at least 10 minutes. The guy in front of us left. The place was packed and although there were plenty of staff there were only 2 young ladies on the floor. One of them who turned out to be our server was doing it all. She's the one who greeted us, cleared tables and waited on every one else in the room. What the heck was everyone else doing standing around behind the counter? Food was 4 stars. My jerk salmon was excellent as was the brulee french toast. Hot chocolate-delicious. Coffee and mimosas were also very good. My son and his friend had the steak and eggs, and eggs benedict. The steak was slightly over and the poached eggs on the benedict were also slightly over. Presentation was beautiful. Food came quickly once we ordered and everyone was served at the same time. Fries and hash brown potatoes were tasty and hot. I would come back hoping management gets their act together. To the cute, sweet black server (sorry I forgot your name) thank you. You...
Read moreOrdered buttermilk chicken strips with seasoned fries alongside a hot chocolate for a drink. The food was just alright. Hot chocolate was tasty, and I liked the buttermilk chicken strips. Good taste and texture. The fries were decent I guess. Didn’t taste very seasoned but had good texture. Outside had some decent crisp and the inside was cooked. This is a 3 star review because I spent 40-50 minutes waiting for my food. The place was maybe at 60-70% capacity but almost an hour for some fries and strips isn’t good. I also received the hot chocolate within the first 5 minutes of ordering. That’s fine, but why not serve water initially and then just give me the hot chocolate with the food? Something small that annoyed me was the very small portion of ketchup given to serve with 4 strips and a good portion of fries. Container was maybe 1/3rd the way full. Server was nice and the chef did give me a complimentary drink of my choice as compensation for the wait so that’s a plus. Would likely stop here again to try something else on the menu but I would rather come when the place has...
