Liam’s Cafe is a true gem and easily one of my favorite places for coffee! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, welcoming vibe and the friendliest staff you could ask for. The owner knows all about coffee and espresso. The real magic is in their coffee, absolutely phenomenal.
Their lattes are smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, you can tell they use high-quality beans and take real pride in their craft. I tried their caramel macchiato, shaken espresso, and other drinks and it was seriously next-level. Just the right amount of sweetness with an incredibly creamy texture. Every sip was pure heaven!
If you need a smooth decaf drink, they have that ready for you.
Whether you’re a casual coffee drinker or a full-blown espresso enthusiast, you’ll be blown away by the flavor and care that goes into every cup. If you haven’t been to Liam’s Cafe yet, do yourself a favor and go, you...
Read moreKind of a weird experience here. There were two dudes clearly friends of the guy working here and they were hanging out and blocking the counter, getting in the way of me from paying and picking up my drinks. They were speaking Russian or something and being rude to me. When I was trying to pay, one of the guys even tilted the computer screen back towards him like he wanted to use it before I was done. They were obnoxious and in the way and me and my wife felt uncomfortable and left ASAP. They seemed to have no regard for customers or the space they were taking up. It made the atmosphere of the place unpleasant.
As for the drink, it was quite good and the server made it with care, but way too much ice. There was so little of the actual drink in there. One sip and it was halfway done. I should have said less ice but usually it's not supposed to...
Read moreNot a great experience here.
The barista seemed to have no regard for a health restriction and tried to push regular espresso on me instead of decaf. He even told me, “Decaf coffee isn’t real coffee.”
The decaf he served came from a packet similar to a pod. The coffee he made for my wife was extremely bitter. He continued to call it “the best coffee” and insisted we’d be back. We will not be returning.
The tamp, grind, and timing were all off, he clearly didn’t know how to pull a proper shot of espresso.
Overall, it’s just not a welcoming place. If this barista is any representation of the owners, then they clearly don’t understand coffee beans or espresso. You’d be better off going...
