Madison Cafe — Restaurant in New York

Today October 18th, the cook and the waitress with the heavy dark makeup choose to laugh at me because I messed up my order and she did it on purpose. I went in and asked for a bacon egg on a roll and she pretended to not hear and asked a bunch of things that I didn’t want on my sandwich. I paid and when I got home all I got was bacon on a sandwich. I decided to go back and the waitress tells me that all she asked if I wanted was bacon and that I said yes. And then charges me 1 dollar to add egg. I understand how it could be funny to laugh at the concept of “clueless customer” but laugh after I leave not while I’m there and being the only person in the restaurant. I’ve only ever had issues with this waitress messing up orders because she can’t hear...

Good food, but always something about the order they get wrong. My thing is if you’re a cook at least love the food because you’re serving to customers. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and it looks ugh! 🗑. I’ve been coming here since they opened and ik never order something and it looked like they didn’t care. The burger is over cooked and bacon! And bun looks like squash it. I can served this type of look. I said oh okay let me get the taste of it. Wowwwwwww burger is just blah! ☹️ no flavor or taste. It’s like they cooked it without no seasoning or care for it. Unbelievable. 😂 lol what a joke. Tired of places that opens a diner or restaurant and your meal can’t be presentable at least!!...

The food is great whenever it is made correctly. You’re taking a 50/50 chance when ordering over the phone. You might get what you asked for or you might get what they wanted to create from what you asked for. Sometimes my coffee is the worst sometimes it’s amazing. They charge me $3 just to go down the road. I’m located on west burnside and they’re on east burnside I think that’s ridiculous. $3 is far too much. Sometimes my food takes for ever to come and when it’s wrong they get upset with me over not wanting it. Do better, be better and more accurate.
