I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your establishment. As a loyal customer who has supported your restaurant since its opening, I felt compelled to share my concerns.

On 12/30/2024 approximately 615PM, I visited the restaurant with my mother and encountered an issue with the policy regarding mini lunch orders. We were initially refused service at a table by a manager with blonde hair and glasses. The refusal appeared to be due to the fact that we ordered mini lunches, which I later noticed is noted in a very small sign as being “to-go only.”

While I understand the importance of adhering to policies, the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh. The manager’s demeanor seemed unwelcoming, and her attitude gave the impression she was upset. The staff appeared uncomfortable trying to accommodate us, which made the situation more awkward.

Fortunately, Cesilia stepped in and treated us with excellent service, allowing us to share the mini lunch at the table. Her professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated and salvaged an otherwise unpleasant experience.

As a regular patron, I value your restaurant and the quality service you usually provide. However, I believe there’s room for improvement in how policies are communicated and enforced, especially with long-time customers. A more visible sign about the “to-go only” policy and a courteous explanation from the staff could make all the difference.

I ordered through Uber eats and had a horrible experience with this restaurant. I ordered a side of rice and beans which was initially $12. I wanted a large portion of both rice and beans but in order to get a large, it was an extra $15. I decided to add it on hoping to get a large quantity for the additional price making it a total of $27.00 for the rice and beans only, this total did not include uber taxes, delivery fees, service fees and etc. I waited about 45 minutes for my order and I could not express the level of disappointment I felt when I received the order. 1st, I DID NOT receive ANY beans at all which baffled me because the order literally was only for rice and beans. 2nd, I received this personal sized tray of old reheated white rice. I paid $15 extra dollars for a LARGE. So they wanted me to pay $27.00 for this little portion of rice with no beans? Funny restaurant and funny service. 1 star for the Cuban. Just ate a Cuban from here January 26th 2023 and it was disgusting. There was a pungent bitterness to it that I couldn’t figure out it wasn’t a rotten taste but kind of funky. I took it apart to double check nothing was green and tasted the meat alone and there was a more apparent blood flavor to it. I eat morcilla (blood sausage) but this was more like a pungent and bitter liver flavor like they burnt some liver and instead of throwing it out they used it to flavor the pernil. My first Cuban from here was 5 stars juicy and everything else I eat from here my family orders from here frequently since it opened.
