Read moreI just cannot get over how good the katsu is. The chicken katsu curry has to be my favorite in the city by far and has been since they opened. It's hard for me to find time to go here, but it's such a genuinely rewarding meal, and i'm happy to sacrifice the place being open daily for the love and time that seems to go into everything there, from the in-house food to the curation of snacks and drinks. The portion is absolutely enormous, bigger than any ive had anywhere here or abroad, and the quality is astonishing. It's just so good.

But the chicken sandwich was crunchy almost to the point of being dried out. My onigiri barely had any filling so I barely touched it. I also picked up 2 single serving mochi and one of them must’ve had a hole in the bag or gone bad because it was hard and I tossed that too.
