Excellent Mexican food. 12/30/21 visit: had 3 tacos and asked for the guac on the side (bistec, chorizo, and pastor). All were excellent, just as good as Mexico. Also had the mole enchiladas with queso (the mole sauce is very good but they use Tropical queso blanco which might be more authentic but to me isn't that melty and flavorful so next time I'd order with Oaxaca or cheddar cheese).

Never visited the store/restaraunt front and decided to go dosn there instead of the usual Seamless order. The restaraunt as more to chose from on thr menu vs. Seamless menu. Delicious and fresh authentic Mexican cuisine.

I've lived in the neighborhood 20 years, long enough to remember Guadalajara De Dia 1 and when both restaurants served solid Mexican food to Mexican families and those who enjoyed authentic home style food. As the area changed they kept serving good solid food even though the clientele is now mostly young white " kids" fresh to New York and fresher to Ridgewood, Qns.... but recently something has changed. The food is not as fresh as it used to be. I used to order extra beans and rice just because they were that good!!! Maybe the humble older guy who ran the place for years got tired.... I don't know. I hope they are just having a bad couple of weeks. Maybe there is a new cook or a new owner... This is not the place that it used to...

First of all food is over priced, second of all how do you call your mexican restaurant 'Guadalajara' but do not make tortas ahogadas or any products that are actually from Guadalajara. Today I ordered two soups. First the two women where very rude to me. My Spanish is bad. Then they over charged me for the soup. Beef tips soups on the menu say 8$ the shrimp soup says 10$. They changed me 13$$ for shrimp and 12 for beef. I don't recommend this place. Good Mexican food and people come from Jackson Heights and Corona.
