MatchPoint Cafe — Restaurant in New York

Absolutely a fantastic place to eat! The ambiance was totally unexpected: I felt like I was in a 5-Star luxury restaurant! Simultaneously, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed with awesome views of the actual sports campus (which I had no idea it was lol).

The gentleman who really sold this wonderful experience for me is Artem. He is the grand master of the MatchPoint Cafe in my honest opinion. Artem was very welcoming even from my phone call inquiring about were customers of the cafe allowed to park in the parking lot (which the answer is yes for future reference, shout out to Artem once again), to the moment I stepped foot into the cafe itself. Artem was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu as well as the premises itself!

When I asked about recommendations, Artem recommended a fantastic salad that comes with grilled salmon, shrimp, avocado, feta cheese, lettuce, and much more. It was so delicious, I regret I forgot the name of it lol. Rest assured though, if Artem is there he'll definitely help you out!

The CAFE STAFF, not the front desk or other departments, for evening time is very rude and disrespectful. My friend purchased two cups of coffee and a chocolate brownie which was about 12 bucks. At first, the lady who was serving her was extremely rude and then she handed over the brownie to her in a way as she is giving in the name of charity. She literally put that brownie in kraft bag without any parchment paper. After going back to her, she refused to replace it for me. "YES, REFUSED TO REPLACE" I didn't even touched it as I won't even serve to my dog this way. Once I called for the manager, she refused to have him. Either ways, she was willing not to help me. Such a disgrace for a client who has been coming to this place for ages. I ended up leaving the food on the counter without taking the money back.

WARNING: If you don't want to ruin your day, stay away from 2 blonde girls at the cash counter in the cafe. I didn't get their names but both of them were extremely rude so it won't take a long time for you to...

We buy smoothies here twice a week, I make smoothies at home daily. Today my child ordered the same smoothie as always. I noticed she wasn’t drinking it after 15 minutes .. debated if it was the wrong order she grabbed. I normally don’t complain or bother but decided to approach the cashier and ask 30 minutes after we got it and my daughter still refused to drink it. They were rude and said it’s been an hour and smoothies become liquid after a while. I tried to explain it’s been this way since the beginning and my daughter has not been drinking or enjoying it as always. Asked to exchange for an iced tea from the fridge, they refused and couldn’t do that. Instead of acknowledging that the smoothie is too fluid and looks like juice with foam and just accommodate the customers request they chose to ignore. Too bad and too typical for this area still unfortunately. I ended paying another 3.75 for iced tea Ridiculous customer...
