I am looking to go here again. I should have taken pictures of the food I had for viewing. I'm so glad that they had very good choices because I'm highly allergic to soy. The curry chick pea patties were great (I had two). The jerk plantain patty was awesome. The fresh ginger juice was great. We got there early so they had some things ready not all but a great amount of food out. We did dine in. The traffic in and out that place was quick and sufficient and there was only one person working the dinning area. I did not get her name however, she provided great service to everyone coming and going. I loved that she took notice it was my first time there and took time going over what she had. Thank you for a great experience the only reason I gave a 4 star is because I'm looking to try the more things. I'm sure I will upgrade the points sooner than later.
Update: I brought my kids here today; 9yr old and 17yr old and they loved the food. This time I have pictures that I posted. The food was great and the drinks were great. Great atmosphere. We...
Read moreWe just stopped here on our way through town and had the most wonderful experience. The woman who greeted us explained all the dishes to us so thoroughly and answered all of our questions. She was incredibly kind helping us order.
The food is beyond incredible. They had patties, which we did not try, as well as a steam table with hot food. We got two medium plates ($16.50 each), which came with starch (choices included bulgur, pumpkin, pumpkin rice, and pasta), soy protein (or fish, or beans I believe), and some kale and plantains on top. Words cannot convey how good this food was. I am not a fan of spicy food, while my partner loves spicy food, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Highly recommend stopping if you are anywhere nearby and want vegan or vegetarian or pescatarian food. This is 2 hours away from home for us and we are already planning a...
Read moreVegan food !! Tried all vegan options. Never had Jamaican food so I told her I dont want any meat. A yellow dish that I think she said was called Ahi or Aki she said was not meat so I got it but I think it was egg. Correct me if Im wrong I still ate it regardless and it was very good but I wish I knew it was egg if it was cause then I wouldnt have got it as Im a vegan. Food is amazing so so good !! Interesting that some Jamaican food is similar to Cruzan & puerto rican food. I come from St Croix, USVI 🇻🇮 Jamaican collard greens are less salty & not smokey like our collard greens. The tostones is diff no adobo on it. They have salfish & kallaloo but as Im now vegan i didnt try their version of it but it looks similar to ours. I wonder if u guys have a version of fungi n fish like us Cruzans do. Either way...
