I usually go to this place at least 3-4 afternoons after I get my 6 yr old from school. And the service has always been great. However just a few minutes ago I encountered the most disgusting, disturbing, poor and unfriendly service there can be from the drive through, which is the same drive through I'm accustomed going through. The African American cashier had a beyond nasty attitude. I literally told her a 6 pc happy meal, with small fries and small mango smoothie. She said 5.49. Next window... that price didnt sound right as this is my usually on afternoons and it's around $9. Any way, At the window she asked me to repeat my order which I did and then with a harsh tone started arguing with me saying I didnt tell her that order, and I didnt say apple slice and apple juice.. Sweetheart u didnt asked. I told u a happy meal!!!! Ur suppose to ask me for my other choices not tell me next window and u didnt complete the order.. I asked her what's with the attitude speaking to me? She then stated I have an attitude and told me go to the next window (this is where u pick up the food now) and let them take my order... I was totally shocked. If u cant do your job right, please ask for the necessary training, because you need it. U dont dimiss a customer like that honey. When I drove to the pick up window, the lady was confused why I'm here as she saw no order for me. I told her the person at the back had me repeat my order 2 times, and still dont have it right. She Refused to get it correct back there and told me to come to u. She got the manager for me. Now I have to give my order again ( which i didnt mind it's only a happy meal with 6pc nuggets, apple juice, apple slice and a small fries with a small mango smoothie I needed. It isnt anything complicated or expense at all. But i wanted to share my feedback about the cashier/ordering person at the back as she isnt customer service material at all. No tolerance or patience at all. I always buy from this branch every week as I stated 3-4 afternoons with my daughter and I'm so displeased and discouraged to return here. The manager was kind enough to give me a discount for the incoveinance and apologized for her colleague 's behavior which was appreciated and I didnt asked for, but the order was still incorrect when I got home. I got everything except my small fries. My daughter is 6yrs old, the fries given to her is just enough for my 2yr old...
Read moreMy daughter was recently interviewed and hired at this McDonald's location. She received a schedule via email for her first three days of work, which she accepted. However, when she arrived, she was told that she accepted the schedule too late. My daughter explained that she was in school at the time the email was sent, and since phones are prohibited during school hours, she couldn’t respond within their expected timeframe.
After my daughter contacted me, I went to the location to gain clarity. The hiring manager was not present, but the on-shift manager courteously called her. The manager did make mention that my daughter walked out which she explained that she assumed the manager was finished, the manger explained she was looking to another manager for futher i information which explained the misunderstanding. After the call, I was told that my daughter would have to wait until the following Monday for a call back. I asked if they could call me instead, since I have access to my phone even while at work, but was told that it wouldn’t be necessary that if she missed the call she could return the call when she was able to.
On Monday, my daughter reached out to the district manager, who shockingly informed her that she had been "terminated" for allegedly disrespecting the team by walking away during a conversation. (REFER TO PHOTO FOR EXACT CONVERSATION). Later, my husband spoke with the district manager, who said he’d look into it. However, when I visited the store for further clarification, the staff there told me they didn’t understand how she could be "terminated" when she hadn’t even officially started working.
I find this treatment of my daughter unacceptable. The district manager has not followed up with us, and we have been given inconsistent information at every step. I worked as a GM for 14 years and am familiar with fair labor practices, including Fair Workweek laws, and this entire situation feels both unjust and potentially illegal. Not only is my daughter’s employment in question, but her character is being tarnished with a termination record before she even had the chance to begin. I hope someone looks into this matter, as no one’s child—especially a minor—should face this kind of treatment.
I kindly ask for a response on how this matter will be rectified. This is the nice way to...
Read moreI arrived at the drive-thru at 10:43 pm. I waited for approximately 5 minutes when a staff member exited the facility and proceeded to wave a cup, indicating that the location was closed. I drove closer to the employee to confirm this announcement. Upon approach, the employee stated that the reason they were closing early was because they were understaffed. I noticed approximately three employees and asked how many were working for the evening. The employee confirmed that there were four members staffed for the night. I then informed the employee that Google confirmed that the location closes at 11:45 pm. The staff member confirmed the schedule was correct. However, she stated that because she was leaving at 11 pm, the remaining three employees would be understaffed. Additionally, the employees serviced about 3-4 cars in the drive-thru before me. I pleaded for the employee to allow me to order, and she refused. It’s disheartening to know that this location decided to close an hour early while claiming to be understaffed, with four employees working at 10:45 pm when the drive-thru was the only available...
