Mezze Cafe — Restaurant in New York

What to start? The establishment has two shop front, one is the sandwich shop named Express and another hot food counter next door. I purchased roasted lemon chicken combo in the hot food counter. The food is great. The price is fine for New York standard. Except the establishment charges a 3.95% card charges, for both credit and debit card. Consider average card fees are less than 2% and debit card fees are less and some are as low as 0.5%-0.8%, the establishment is profiting from card charges, that is unethical, very bad business practice. The $16 roasted chicken leg becomes $23 with a bottle of overpriced water and day light robbery credit card charges. I only hope there are more choices in this terminal. The current offering is pathetic. I also feel sorry for the employees. I would have left a tip if the owner is not so greedy. Yesterday between 7:00-7:30 pm my coworker and I went to get coffee and chicken wings during our break time . So we don’t go there much often that’s why we took some time to look at the menus and figured out what we wanted . Upon purchasing I didn’t get a receipt and neither did we get our employee discount then the cashier went straight after taking our orders to make our coffees which after drinking we ended up getting headaches, burred vision and diarrhea . If our drinks were tampered with she could get jail time . Please someone look into this cashier.
