I ordered from this pizzeria before and I gave them a good review. Unfortunately I cannot do that this time not only did I have to wait 90 mins for the delivery but when it got here, it was ice cold so I sent it back. I am not going to pay $40 and have ice cold food. No I don’t think so. I cannot comment on the atmosphere cause I didn’t go to the restaurant. But the food quality was terrible because it was ice cold. Very unhappy and I will never ever go there to eat or have anything delivered again.
To the owner Dominic that replied to this review, you are correct. I did give you a good review last time, but that was after I wrote a bad review, because the same thing happened, and I agreed to let you send me a new food order to change my review and I did that and made a bad review into a good review. I’m not saying your food is not good because it is, I’ve been in the restaurant a few times and the food was fantastic but when it comes to delivery after that, I had a few bad deliveries and I never wrote a review because you build a rapport with me on the phone so I decided to let it go, but this time couldn’t!! Your food is excellent when you’re at the restaurant, but when it comes to delivery, same thing happens all the time that’s why I stopped ordering from you for a long time matter fact it was two years and by the way I took that good review down. So let’s just leave it there. I gave a complement to your food when it’s hot but when you get deliveries it’s always going to be cold. Also, the few times that I did get the call I did speak to your son row and all she said was so sorry and that’s when I stopped ordering delivery two years ago I figured by now things might have gotten better but I was wrong, It didn’t as far as your deliveries. Dominic, you don’t even remember speaking with me. You even gave me your cell phone number but I would never call you on your cell because to me that’s just not right. I always call the store but you’re never there when I would call and I will get your son Ralph, which I don’t think he even cared because I called you one time about him and you said you speak to him and that he was young I’m still learning. I saw that entire story in a nutshell of the experience that I had between eating in the restaurant and deliveries. Maybe it’s time to invest in some sort of a hot oven for the back of a van sort of what Joe and Pat does on Victory Blvd but hey I only ran a $33 million business so I might not know what I’m talking about. Read moreWe’ve been coming to this restaurant for fifteen years and always enjoyed their fine food, entertainment and especially their customer service. However, last night’s dinner was a disaster. Our dinner was ruined by a rude server who made a mistake on an order and attempted to place the blame on us and the chef, anyone but himself (we ordered eggplant Florentine but were served eggplant rolltini).
Instead of doing the right thing and switching the order to the right one, our server was concerned that we all tasted the rolitini, and told us that our new order would be reduced by one of the three rolled eggplants. Can you believe this? We winded up canceling the Florentine order because it took just too long to serve and because we were all disgusted by then.
To add injury to insult, our server took his revenge on us by charging the full bogo higher price of the dish we never received (certain orders prices are increased because they’re on the buy one get one free menu) and taking away the Florentine wrapped up for us to take home. And, charge us for an extra drink on the bill. At that point the restaurant manager intereceeded and corrected our bill by charging us the non-bogo price for the dish we ate and taking off the extra charged drink. We were also given the Florentine dish to take home.
