Mr. Fire Bar & Grill — Restaurant in New York

This was our 1st visit to Mr Fire. We loved the way the place was decorated, plenty of space at tables, booths and bar. Great art and very clean. It was early Sunday afternoon, there was a buffet for $49.99 per person or you could order off the menu which we chose to do . There was a dj, DJ Joseph Loveras, who played the best music and had us dancing in our seats!!! He really made our visit so much fun! Now the food, we started with Beef Nachos which we gave a 5 out of 10. The meat was mushy, there were no toppings except meat, cheese and quac. We asked for sour cream but it was spoiled. Caesar salad was ok but the chicken was bland and dry, the oxtail was just ok. Service was ok. Our server was nice but I think she may also have been the bartender so her attention was split and it was more of a drop and go. Gratuity is already figured into your check which I almost didn't see. I live in a different state so that is usually only for parties of 6 or more here but it's fine. THIS PLACE IS MORE INVESTED IN LOOKING GOOD THAN ACTUALLY PROVIDING GOOD SERVICE. I WANNA START WITH THE DISREPECTFUL SECURITY, MY GUY IS TAKING HIS JOB WAY TO SERIOUS NOT KNOWING THAT MY HANDS CAN CHANGE LIVES. BUT TO GET TO THE POINT I GET THE REPUTATION THAT PROCEEDED THIS LOCATION FROM WHAT WAS ONCE CALLED "MAL DEL PLATA" HOWEVER YOU GUYS SUCK AT SERVICE. I ACTUALLY HAD TO CHASE PEOPLE DOWN TO PAY MY DRINKS BECAUSE I WANTED TO PAY AND WALK OUT FROM THE EXCESSIVE TIME OF NO ATTENTION NOT EVEN WATER OR THE MENU. LETS BE FOR REAL. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. THE STAFF CAME AND GAVE OUR DRINK AFTER 30 MINS, THEN THE WAITER CONTINUED TO IGNORE US THAT I HAD TO SCREAM ON TOP OF MY LUNGS TO GET HIS ATTENTION. THE STAFF ARE ALL PARTYING THEMSELVES. IDK IF ITS BECAUSE I SAT BY THE BAR, I WASTED AN HOUR TO GET 1 DRINK THAT TASTED HORRIBLE. MENG THIS PLACE JUST WENT FROM BAD TO WORST. DONT BUY THE NEW LOOK. THE SERVICE SUCKS LITERALLY. Reserved a table here for 9pm on Valentine’s Day and had to wait over an hour to just be seated, after not only being seated late but observing the staff throw some one out just to get me and my group a table the same person they were throwing out approached me and was intoxicated acting aggressively. He was forced out of the establishment and once I was seated it took over an hour to get menus, I threatened a staff member to leave unless I was served.

After finally getting a waitress to our table we decided to order our drinks, appetizers and entrees in advance assuming they would take extremely long… I ordered a Diet Coke and a water and after 40 minutes my group and I walked out along with two other tables because we were there nearly 3 hours and received not even a glass of water.
