Samantha Bakes Cakes — Local services in New York

I had a baby shower for October 21st. We were emailing so many places trying to get our cake done but still stay within budget where we then found Samantha on Yelp! Amazing prices for amazing service and desserts! I was looking for a little family elephant to be made on top of the cake, some places wouldnt do it (ridiculous) or trying to overcharge. Samantha just made the whole cake process so much easier!!! All my guests came up to me asking where I got the cake from and how they loved it. The design was more beautiful than what I expected and the cake itself was delicious. My boyfriend and mother, both are not dessert people, even loved it! We are ordering another cake from her for a little birthday party because we now refuse to go anywhere else and she is the only person I will be recommending! We had less than 6 months to plan our intimate wedding, and I wanted every detail to be beautiful. Our experience with Samantha from the first e-mail exchange, to the immaculate cake tasting session, to the final product was such a breezy, wonderful experience. Samantha is incredibly sweet (much like the spoons of frostings and mini cakes she immaculately crafted and arranged for our tasting!) and we knew immediately she was the "one". We presented a couple of ideas and inspiration photos, and essentially left it up to her expertise to craft a cake we never dreamt of.
