So disappointing. I went there last night and only one person ahead of me and waited for about 30 minutes. I finally ordered a Cuban sandwich but when I got home ready to eat it was a hot&spicy chopped chicken with cucumbers and lettuce. I was so upset and didn't want to get dressed and walk back I attempted to eat it but it was so spicy 😫. I just ate the snacks I brought and went to bed.

So mad I didn't take a picture... But I was highly disappointed with the salad I ordered. I've been ordering a salad with the same ingredients from other deli's, but this one had an odd taste. I asked for olive oil on the side but I didn't use it because it seemed to be mixed with something else. Too make matters worst.. after I decided to not finish the salad I ended up finding a NICE CURLY HAIR in my salad!!!. It was so hard not to vomit after seeing the big white hair follicle.

Super disappointed at the cook. Mistakes like that will...

We love Sal and the amazing food culture he has cultivated at the best bodega I’ve had in NYC. Food recommendations: BEC w/ salt pepper ketchup, chicken over rice (everything on it), Philly w/ extra mayo, Turkey Club w/ mayo and honey mustard... those are my personal favorites but you can’t go wrong at this deli. Talk to the cook and they’ll guide you along this one of a kind food...
